I bought 2 larger pieces and 2 smaller ones this year, so spent a good amount. I have a 1 acre trail I open to our community for all to walk the entire trail... the pieces are really neat... One item was not working ( once I sent pictures) and send it all to them showing what was not working) they shipped out a replacement same day.. ( I am waiting on it now) but they sent me the confirmation of shipment.. I appreciate them addressing the issue promptly. Other: PAY attention when it states " EXTRA SUPPORT OR BRACING is needed' .. The metal frames legs are not thick enough or long enough to support whole structure on larger pieces so you will need to BACK brace them, put in back support... But the pieces are still neat, and creative. Prompt attention and response is great ( rare to find now a days) ! read more

We found this store in TN quite by accident but ended up spending around $1,800 on two pieces and I love them! Ray was great and offered excellent service. We ordered items on Saturday afternoon and they arrived to me the following Wednesday. I already have a list ready for my next purchases. I can't speak to service issues if something goes wrong but as of this moment, I am 100% satisfied. read more

Buyer beware! I have spent $8,000-$10,000 over the years at CDB. I am now done doing business with them. I also have told family, friends & neighbors not to do business with them. I get 100's of drive by spectators each year. Several will stop & get out of their cars if they see me outside. I will no longer recommend CDB to them. Their customer service sucks now. If you have any issues with their lights, you are screwed. I am a really good troubleshooter with the old style incandescent decoration but the LED strings are 3 wire sealed light sets. The LED Keeper & pods are no good on these sets. They will not make any new strings for the items. What good is that. You buy a $600 LED decoration & when a string fails, it's no good to you unless you restring the whole frame. you have been warned!!! read more

I had been a long time customer. I have spent thousands on displays from here. The customer service had been good. Over the past few years it has slipped and is now POOR. When LEDs or entire strings go out, AND THEY WILL, they used to sell replacement strings. No more. Instead they will sell you a replacement display at a discount. I am a retired electronic engineer, and after the season, I spend weeks repairing/replacing defective LEDs and entire strings. Being an engineer, there is NO, zero excuse for LED failures at this rate. If you do not know how to diagnose, repair, and replace LEDs, do not attempt. Another company makes socketed, and not hard wired LED strings. Buy those. You are warned. LEDs should last for thousand and thousands of hours. This company's source is JUNK. read more

Prior to this year I'd have given this company a 5 star rating. I've bought numerous items from them over the years and been very pleased with the product. Never really needed their customer service until now...this is why they're getting a 2 star rating. I purchased a larger 2 piece item from them and within 3 days of putting it up, it blew my GFI outlet and it stopped working (early December). I called my electrician who diagnosed the exact light string that was causing a hard short. I contacted the company and they said they were out of the item and replacement strings but would fix the light string if I sent it to them. They sent me a fedex code that was only usable for a day! Fedex could not get it to work. Who only gives a customer one day to get to fedex, especially when I spoke to them after 4pm? I reached out multiple times asking them to send me an old fashion fedex label not the QR code and got NO response. When they finally responded over a week later they said they'd send a new label. Did they? No. Fast forward another week and lots of back and forth they finally send me an old fashioned fedex label and I send my light string to them the week before Xmas. It's now Dec 30th and I STILL DON'T HAVE THE LIGHT STRING BACK! I've had half a display up for the entire month of Dec. So glad I spent hundreds of dollars for an item that doesn't work. I have no confidence that they're going to make this situation right. Absolutely terrible customer service. Update 1/2/23: Melissa called and they are going to attempt to make things right by replacing the piece later this year. I'm hopeful that they will keep their word. If and when they do, I will update my review. read more

I bought TONS of lights from them years ago, particularly the swaying pine trees. The new ones with LED clip ons are pure junk. They don't look anywhere nearly as nice as the old style. Don't waste money on them until they change style again to something better read more

Awesome business! Have been a customer with Christmas done bright for 15 years+. Have purchased many items--both Christmas and Halloween. Have definitely honored their products through the years. The only items that seem to "give out" are the light strands. When this has happened in the past, they've done all they can to offer me replacement strands-which made things all better. Have never had problems with any structure. Recently visited their showroom and it was amazing. Bought 2 more items-to be delivered. (received 20% off and free shipping!). Truly can't beat them. I just found out Christmas Done Bright doesn't fix or rewire products. I just called and told them a rat destroyed 2 of my pieces. They would give me 25% discount on new items, but could not fix the damaged ones. Were talking 100's of dollars still...BUMMER! They buy the already assembled items from somewhere else. It's up to me to fix them, because the peices I have are discontinued. Not happy. read more

I have been buying their displays for years but, when the lights fail they do not offer any replacement strings. You can only replace the item for a discount. I have been told several times through the years to contact a local electrician to see if they can help and have never found one who would even consider it. I don't understand how someone makes these strands of lights for their displays yet they are unable to have replacement strands available when the lights fail . . . and they eventually will.
