I am now in my 30's and while I no longer live in the area I still come back every now and then. The family owned and run store is the best, and the people are friendly . When I was 10 I tripped over a curb infront of the store and hit my head splitting it open. The owner came out and took me inside and held a towel on my head until I was taken to the hospital. Generally caring people that have been in the community for a long time. While the area has changed a lot and the people in the area are not the same this store and the owners have not changed.

I bought the cereal in 2002. So even though this place is fine for your usual convenient store items I would highly suggest staying away from any food. And if you do find yourself browsing those items then make sure you check the expiration date because they likely have tins of beans from 1997.

I get home & open the boxes containing the tarts and to my surprise, the tarts are literally ROTTEN and have green spots on them. Thank God i have checked them before eating them myself or giving them to my kid. Food should be no joke & These tarts (containing eggs) should be kept in adequate temperature and NEVER be sold days after they're baked (they cannot get rotten in a day so God knows how long they have been sitting there for).
