Christianshavn ( lit. '[King] Christian's Harbour') is a neighbourhood in Copenhagen, Denmark.
It's part of the Indre By District, and it is located on several artificial islands between the islands of Zealand and Amager and it is separated from the rest of the city centre by the Inner Harbour.
Christianshavn is known for its hip cafe culture and canals lined with colorful houseboats.
As a common courtesy, please ask permission before taking pictures of people. It's a small town of over 1,000 people, who value their privacy.
You will find the Copenhagen Opera House here. The Opera house offers music, dance and theater performances, plus tours of its unique glass, metal and wood building.
We visited Christianshavn by boat. It's a beautiful, picturesque, and colorful place filled with canals and a rich history.
Beautiful memories made here!
