This store is beautiful. A total shoe lover's dream. I was like a kid in a candy store walking in, and the fact that this is the very first Louboutin store made is so much more special! I wish I could rate this location 5 stars, however I was a little bothered that only two sales associates were on the floor, and with more than two customers in the store, their attention was already focused elsewhere and I was somewhat left to my own devices and spent more time in the store than I was intending. This definitely isn't reflective of the SAs, who were friendly, attentive, and helpful once people started to leave. It's really more reflective on the management of the store. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful store and if you can get someone to help you, you'll be in and out in no time! This location does carry exclusive styles that can't be found elsewhere, so be sure to ask for those as well!

Of course I had to visit a Christian Louboutin store while in Paris back in September! I did research in prepping for our trip. The bigger location was under renovation. I was about the 10th person in line upon arrival. They let two parties go in at a time and has a security guard at the door. One Asian lady tried to cut totally ignoring the line, but he put her in her place as she tried to act "clueless." I am a lover and owner of designer handbags and a couple of designer pumps, but over the past few years, I've refrained from buying a handful of pumps just due to practicality. But, I told myself, it was my first trip to Europe, and since I already have a Chanel purse, I had to get a European creation in Europe, since it's cheaper, and I'll get the VAT back eventually. Unfortunately ever shoe I wanted they didn't have in my size 36. Except for one, the Pigalle 85mm. The black on red was so sexy. And pointy toed, though not always the most comfy, is always sexier than round toe. Service was okay, but I felt that the associates back in the San Francisco store were friendlier, though I actually tried pumps on here and not back in SF. My Sales Associate was friendlier once I was being rung up. Unfortunately I thought just a copy of my passport would suffice, but apparently a new law changed where they had to have the physical legal copy present. Since the next day was Sunday, I made sure just to take a cab back and forth right after back to the store. The security guard remembered me and let me back in instantly and all the paperwork was taken care of. They charged 515 Euro, which at the time was about 0.81 USD to 1 Euro. Price here in SF is $675 USD. When I left Charles De Gaulle on September 25th I dropped off the paperwork to get the credit back on my Visa credit card. I finally got back the $65.67 USD in early February. Not sure if CL took awhile to submit their paperwork, as some sites had suggested calling the store since they have to submit paperwork on their end too. I would suggest any designer and shoe loving lady to visit a Christian Louboutin store while in Paris. The shoes are truly breathtaking even if your feet starting hurting at just the mere site of the 4 or 5 inch pumps. I stuck with about a 3in. heel. The men's store is seperate next door, and with no surprise, no wait at all.

Everything is better in Paris! Even the gaudy looking Christian Louboutins! When I think of Christian Louboutin I think of the classy black or nude patent leather ones, not the ones encrusted with jewels or spikes. On a rainy day without a plan, umbrella, or hat, I ran through the streets of Paris looking for the metro, shelter, restaurant, any place that would save my sanity. I ended up in front of Christian Louboutin and it was as if all my anger and frustration had lifted. Seriously, I have never seen such beautiful shoes and they were displayed like art pieces. Granted each shoe cost an arm and a leg, they were all works of art. This is a sizeable shop for men and women. They have casual hightops too. Not every shoe is for a production or big scale event. But if you own and wear these shoes, then I suppose you are the production and main event. Show stopper!

I WAS A KID IN A CANDY STORE WALKING IN HERE! although i didn't think the staff was as friendly as i would've liked i did have to remember...i'm in paris. so it's expected lol. but i did get a lot of help picking out the shoes i wanted. i did want the 120mm which they don't sell in paris which was kinda disappointing but the 100mm is definitely more comfortable. i just think the 120mm is more aesthetically pleasing. but overall. awesome experience. louboutin makes beautiful shoes. i'll buy every time.

I have found the best shoe store in Paris. I repeat, I have found the best shoe store in Paris!…read moreIt's almost too good to be true, but it's not, since I have the boots on my feet to prove it! Ok, imagine a shop that sells a tight-selection of super stylish, comfortable shoes, from boots and strappy heels to slip on flats and chunky pumps at affordable prices. Already, I've got you hooked right? Now add to that the fact that all of the shoes are made in Paris in an atelier in the 11th. Not only is that impressive, but so outrageously rare. Aside from super exclusive artisans creating custom shoes that cost a month's rent, it's impossible to find locally-made shoes at real-people prices. Now, as if that weren't enough, get ready for the icing on the cake. ALL of the models can be customized for no extra fee at all. So, if you love that pair of peep-toe pumps but want them in emerald green in stead of pink, Taher Mardini can make that happen for you. I took advantage of the sales and bought myself the perfect pair of black boots at 30% off the ticket price. They are amazingly beautiful and super comfortable and cost 1/4 of the price of a pair of designer boots made who knows where in the world. I'm totally eying a pair of ankle books that I plan on ordering in one of the 50 or so different colors that you could choose from. Never owned a pair of red boots and I think that I totally need that experience in my life. Oh, I forgot to mention that they'll also recreate a pair of your favorite beat up shoes for you too! How insane is that?! Thanks to Taher Mardini we can now make all of our shoe fantasies come true!

St. Michel, my first mistake) and turn right at first block to Rue de St Andres des Art. It is NOT on the street itself (my 2nd mistake) but in passageway Couer de Commerce between #59 and 61. Once you enter, the shop is 10+ meters on your left. It is indeed tiny but a paper lover/writer's haven: journals, day timers, cards, pens & accessories, wooden bookmarks, postcards, wrapping paper et al. My favorite purchases included separate leather cases (holds one pen each) - I got three in red, blue and orange each - a sheave of wrapping paper in different designs and a wood bookmark. Many of the products are beautifully designed and handmade; the owner will tell you which country they are from or made in, The items I bought were from in Italy, India and France. Well worth the effort to find!
