History
Established in 2014.
Since 2014, Christensen Law’s experienced trial attorneys and compassionate staff have been guided by three core principles: listen, protect, and win. We understand the frustration and stress that follow an accident, and we know insurance companies often take advantage of injury victims. That’s why we use every resource available to fight for maximum compensation. We take on the burden—and the costs—of your case. You pay nothing unless we win, and consultations are always free.
Our firm focuses on personal injury cases, including catastrophic traumatic brain injuries (TBI), wrongful death, car, truck, and motorcycle accidents, as well as slip and falls, dog bites, and other serious injuries. We also assist clients with select other legal matters. From offices in Detroit, Southfield, Ann Arbor, Troy, and Grand Rapids, our award-winning trial attorneys have secured record-setting verdicts and settlements for clients across Michigan.
Meet the Business Owner: Dave C.
David Christensen founded Christensen Law in 2014 to provide personal attention to accident victims. “I enjoy taking care of people,” he says. “I like beating large corporations and protecting clients when their lives are destroyed.” A California native, Christensen earned his law and master’s degrees from the University of Michigan. After two decades at a high-volume firm, he launched Christensen Law to prioritize communication and client care. The firm’s motto—Listen. Protect. Win.—guides their client-first approach. Christensen is widely recognized for his courtroom success, including a $17.8M verdict in a non-fatal crash case. Honors include “Lawyer of the Year,” Hall of Fame, and top lawyer rankings by Martindale-Hubbell and U.S. News. He’s active in legal reform and community service, including roles with the State Bar, Michigan Association for Justice, and multiple nonprofits.
