She arrived onsite early, found unique and beautiful spots for shots, was patient, very attentive to details, and seemed genuinely excited about capturing each moment. She knew exactly which angles were the best and how to use the lighting to highlight all the best features. She has a way of capturing images no one else can imagine. The experience continues when it's time to see the portraits. The big reveal was fantastical. I was in tears when I walked in to see how beautiful the images were. I swore we would need time to decide but she had a plan and a method to help us choose, and make the right choices for us. She worked with us on our final products to ensure we were happy. I can't say enough about this duo. I fell in love with them at a friends wedding. They then…read morestepped in LAST minute for another friends wedding I was in. I had booked them and with her photographer backing out right before her wedding said call Keen, maybe they will be able to jump in since it's a Friday. Sure enough they did and it was STUNNING. I knew coming in to my day what Chantel stays on point, that woman will do whatever she needs to get the shot and she will not fail you if you have shots you want, I don't know how but with such a tight timeline they do it all. I've now experienced Derek as a photographer and our videographer. His excitement makes you freaking excited. He constantly is pumped about the shot , makes you feel like a movie star. They both are the most PASSIONATE people I ever met. Above and beyond ... they do more. They do way more. I mean endless hours and then hours and hours of editing. They are a dream team ( seriously I don't know how as husband and wife you do what you do without frustration , but you two are adorable side by side). I can't imagine what I would have done had I not found them through word of mouth. I am gushing inside writing this. Seriously from our first meeting in Starbucks I knew you two were it. I knew you had it under control. I knew you'd make my day everything I wanted and I knew you would do the ONE thing most important to me, capture my moments forever so that when I look back I can see this for years to come and feel like I didn't miss a moment in a crazy day that flies by. True love to you both.

My family and I attended a wedding on October 8, 2022 which was a cold fall night. The property was…read morevery nice and the barn/reception was beautifully decorated. As the night went on the barn was getting colder and colder inside which had no heat and no portable heating for the guest. The brides father plugged in several small box heaters to help make the guests more comfortable. At one point throughout the night the owner (older male with gray/white hair) entered the barn and started ripping the wires for the box heaters out of the outlets and yelling at the guests making quite the scene. The owner then yelled at several guests saying that we would burn down the barn for just simply trying to not freeze to death. I then politely attempted to talk to the owner about his actions. The owner got within an inch of my face and yelled that he had a "hot box" and it was our fault if the building burnt to the ground (referring to the electrical panel). Now I am no electrician or expert by any means but I would assume that the electrical panel was not to code and was probably a 100 amp breaker box when 200 amp was needed. I then told the owner that he needed to respect his guests and to respectfully go about unplugging the heaters instead of creating a scene during the first dance and father daughter dances. The owner was a complete a**hole and I would hope no one would ever give that man another dollar in his life. Overall the venue was nice but the ownership is terrible and would never recommend.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning: spacious, elegant, and full of beautiful French country charm. With plenty of windows throughout the venue, the natural lighting is incredible. The chandeliers add a romantic touch, the bridal suite in the loft is gorgeous, and the reception space is simply perfect. The grounds are just as beautiful as the venue itself. It is clear that Gretchen and her husband take great pride in maintaining the property. The flowers outside, fountain on the patio, and vineyards create such an elegant atmosphere and provide the perfect backdrop for photos. We chose to have our hors de' oeuvres outside on the porch and it was lovely and very spacious. Every detail of the property is thoughtfully cared for and adds to the charm of the venue. Gretchen was AMAZING to work with from start to finish! Communication was easy, and she was transparent, accommodating, and incredibly kind throughout the entire process. As a bride on a budget, I appreciated how willing she was to work with us while still helping us create the reception we envisioned. She was incredibly accommodating throughout the setup process and went above and beyond to help ensure everything came together smoothly. Her willingness to work with our needs made the entire experience much less stressful and truly meant a lot to us! On the day of the reception, Gretchen acted as a reception coordinator to assist my coordinator to ensure everything ran smoothly. Because of her attention to detail and support, the entire day felt stress-free and organized. We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was and how wonderful the reception turned out. We would highly recommend Mapleville Manor to any couple looking for a beautiful venue and owners who genuinely care about making your day special!

I come here once a year in January or early February when they host a winter indoor flea market…read more "Like" their Facebook page as they also hold other events here including a flea market in the spring. For me the flea market is worthy of the 1.5 hour drive it takes to get here. The vendors are always varied with a mix of antique dealers, direct sales (like Mary Kay/Tupperwear), a host of yard sale items, and extreme couponers offering up their extra bounty. Being that it's held in the winter I appreciate that this building is heated, has a small concession stand, and clean rest room facilities. It's located near a park and large hospital complex and relatively easy to find. The town of Westminister is adorable and if you are coming here for the flea do explore the main streets as they're dotted with small businesses and cafes. Molli's Cafe is my favorite and highly recommended. The street parking in the town is metered but waived on weekends. Fill up on gas before you leave as it's a good .40 cents cheaper than back home. Four stars because the ag center needs to provide seating even if just a few tables since they have a concession stand. Also the lot is usually a hot mess. If your fortunate to park on the blacktop consider yourself lucky. The grassy area is filled with holes and rivets and usually a muddy mess. One could easily pop a tire trying to maneuver their way in or out.
