More like drowned, which was fortunate because it was only the oil which gave them any flavour at all, in the end my head ruled my stomach and despite our hunger (we only got a quarter of the way through) enough was enough and the remaining portion was consigned to the nearest refuse bin, my wife was concerned that perhaps a fox would later take advantage of this ready meal but I eased her fears by suggesting that vulpine culinary preferences would be towards any available road kill rather than Olympics soggy offerings !
