I had my session with Chuck and let me just say he makes tattoo dreams come true!…read more I arrived for our session a couple minutes behind. He was thankful that l sent him a quick message letting him know. He was already set up and I knew what he had drawn up for me! We had to make some minor adjustments for it to fit my arm and then we got started. This time, I tried the viral tattoo numbing cream. It's honestly not worth it. If your sitting for a day, the stuff wears off between 1-3 hours. This numbing cream was not provided by the shop, but I appreciated that Chuck was comfortable with me trying it. You build up more of a tolerance without it because once it stops working, it rapidly stops. I think while he was doing my tattoo, it felt much better without it. We took a quick lunch break in between the hours of tattooing. I was fun hearing him bs with his coworkers. It helped take my mind off the more painful spots. The pain level is different for everyone. Some spots for me tickled... it's not really too much of a struggle not to move because of the pain, but it's more of a struggle not to laugh when the awkward tickling was happening. Like... why tf does it tickle?? Haha! Chuck takes all types of payments when you are finished. If you put down a retainer, that goes towards your session with him. My friend says it turned out better than he could have imagined!!!

It looked infected and once healed the ink was missing in some spots.. also a bead was missing in my rosary. Although this was done by her apprentice, I feel for the price I paid it should've looked just as clean and precise as all my other tattoos. It was my first time experiencing ink looking and healing the way that it did. I did reach out to the owner but I became pregnant and couldn't get back in for a retouch although I'd be a little apprehensive to get work done here again. All in all the owner is great but i definitely think your employees are a reflection of you and I don't think the artist who did my tattoo was ready to take on paying clients!

Scheduling an appointment was a breeze, and I appreciated that there wasn't a long wait. While some shops offer walk-ins, this place truly offers the cream of the crop when it comes to artists, so appointments are well worth it. Brandon did an incredible job with my ink! Not only is he a talented artist, but I also enjoyed the great conversation while he worked on my piece. The pricing was very reasonable--in fact, I expected to pay more for the quality I received, so that was a pleasant surprise! My silhouette of a husky turned out exactly how I envisioned, and I couldn't be happier. For my fellow Yelpers looking to get amazing work done, I highly recommend checking out this shop. Trust me, you won't regret it--go get your ink on! Thank you, Brandon, for the perfect tattoo and a fantastic experience!

Another wonderful bonus was after the service was done, Tony set me a very detailed text message with pictures talking about how to take care of my tattoo, and want to except over the next few days. The building itself has a really cool history, and the inside of the shop looks incredible. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride not only in the space, but in the team they've built. Eli Rushing was my artist, and he took me as a walk-in. I came in wanting to get my newborn son's footprints tattooed on each side of my Tree of Life. We bounced around a few ideas and landed on a design I was really excited about. Eli absolutely nailed it. We had great conversation throughout the session, and once it was done, I was genuinely blown away by the finished piece. On a whim, I also asked if he'd be willing to touch up some faded Hawaiian islands I have on my other arm, and he didn't hesitate. He was happy to do it, which I really appreciated. The pricing was very fair, and I tipped well because I felt he absolutely deserved it. That was fully my choice, just based on the quality of the work and the overall experience. Everyone coming through the shop was friendly, talkative, and welcoming. Even the shop hand stood out--she was constantly making sure the artists had what they needed and was great with customers. You can see why this place has won so many awards. The shop and the artists absolutely live up to that reputation. Thankfully I live less than a mile away, because I'll definitely be coming back for future work. Thanks Eli and thanks Honeymoon Tattoo for such a great experience!

It's also a lot closer than the other shop I was used to going to. Fallen Angel is a tattoo shop and the set up inside is gorgeous. I liked how the tattoo stations were set up facing the windows and the clients getting tattoos had movies playing for a nice distraction. There didn't seem like much room, but maybe it was (since I'm not the expert, lol). Everyone looked comfortable! We met Shannon! She walked out with gorgeous long purple & blue hair and a big smile. I instantly loved her personality! After introductions, she went to go sanitize the room so we could all get pierced. One by one and we watched each other all get pierced, Shannon took her time with each of us. We all did something different. My daughter got a floating halo, her grandmother got a flat, I think?? I got the conch. Right before Shannon pierced us, she offered to count down if we wanted. I needed a count down, lol! How funny is my daughter that as I decided on the conch, she whispers the word "ouch" to me before I was pierced, lol! Yeah it hurt, but it also felt great! Shannon was quick with it and handled my ear worth care. Shannon also explain to each of us the process of keeping it clean daily, a few times a day with saline. We all took it like Champs!
