I was an out-of-state buyer, looking for a second home in the San Gabriel Valley. My plan was to drive to LA each time a promising listing appeared on Zillow. I needed an agent who was patient, flexible, understood that I wasn't going to settle for just any house that didn't match my needs, and let me primarily drive the search, while also sending me listings that fit. I had to reject one agent who wasn't interested in my approach. Enter Javier and Ana! I was so lucky to find them here on Yelp. They let me drive the search and only contacted me when a listing came up that matched my criteria. Often, they contacted me about one I was already interested in, having seen it appear that day on Zillow. This shows that they really listened to me. They never tried to show me houses that didn't fit, just to rush the process. I went to LA a couple of times and visited houses that looked good online but, for one reason or another, I didn't like the houses when seeing them in person. It only took about three months for us to find a very, very good match which checked all my boxes. I drove to LA, visited it, and made an offer that day. Javier got my offer accepted against two competing offers. While in escrow, he kept a sharp eye on the details, informing me along the way. He was consistently accessible whenever I had questions.
