After a full exam I first was told my appointment time was up, the second thing I was told I can only have a cleaning if they did a Deep Cleaning and also repair of two bottom teeth one replace a crown and one to do a crown. I was having No Problem with those two teeth. My estimate cost would have been over $5000.00. Again I asked about my cleaning and was refused because my appointment time was up and I needed to make appointment for deep cleaning and repair because of the Dentist Liability. I was beside myself with that answer. This is unacceptable and to rush me out. I never had that happen to me EVER just going in for my cleaning and X-rays. I am a senior but I am not stupid. Maybe they get by telling other seniors that but not me. They also post only 5 star reviews which is another Red Flag. No business in any field is perfect. BE AWARE!!! The approach at Dr. Holley's practice is to be gentle, kind and sympathetic, whilst trying to treat the problem in the best way. Every other male dentist I've ever had the misfortune of seeing, cares not primarily about the pain or treatment of the patient, rather what size of bill they can rack up. I will never visit another male dentist again, including a particularly vicious one I visited in Jupiter who inadvertently admitted to enjoying causing pain to patients. Made the molds, and after 6 weeks, I called to see what was taking so long for the crowns to be made. They said it is taking longer because of COVID. Then I called two weeks later & I was told, oh, we are sorry, they are here. So there's that. Then while working, the female "Dentist" was basically cackling like a 10 year old. Over the next few months, I kept feeling a discomfort in one of the two teeth they put a crown on. I had already decided that I was not going back to this place again. After it started to swell and became more painful, I went to a new dentist. They received the prior x-rays & took their own. In two seconds, he said "They put a crown on a tooth with an abscess in the root, it is clear as day on the x-ray they took". I now had to have oral surgery to remove the entire tooth, clean the root & needed a bone graft as the abscess had gone into the bone leading to my sinus. I will now have a 3-4 month recovery, and will need a $4 - $5,000 implant. So in summary, don't go to this place.

Then she arranged a call between Dr. Zen (Dr. Maxson's office) and the endodontist. They discussed the diagnosis and the CT scan findings. The endodontist agreed to accept the CT scan from Dr. Maxson's office. I was extremely pleased the way Penny immediately responded to my review and advocated for me with the endodontist. I further discovered that Dr. Maxson's office proactively takes the CT scan at a discounted price to help patients save on this costly procedure as other specialists charge a much higher price for the CT scan.
