I worked alongside the fairly good, the fairly bad, and the in-between, which was all pretty uninspiring as a client to say the least. When trusting someone with selling your home, you'd hope the agent of choice is extremely knowledgeable and makes the process as headache free for you as humanly possible. Working with Chris was as easy as it's ever been and he will be my realtor going forward as he exceeded my expectations of what an agent can do for their client. He was able to answer all of my questions promptly and worked extremely hard throughout the process. He was able to work through a complex situation that he solved in a very timely manner while proving very patient with me, as I know that I wasn't the easiest client. The best thing about working with Chris was how friendly and approachable he was throughout the process. He urged me to contact him with any and all questions, and always was quick to respond or make himself accessible. He genuinely cared about all of my concerns and I felt like I was a priority, whether it was just updating me on the situation or checking in. We were referred to David Demangos by a former client who described him as a highly regarded expert in San Diego real estate--and that reputation proved 100% accurate. My wife and I were relocating from Los Gatos and searching for our forever home in La Jolla, specifically one that is walkable to the beach and to all the places that make La Jolla special. From the start, David understood exactly what we wanted and, just as importantly, how we think. We are demanding yet fair and reasonable, and we needed someone we could fully trust to guide us through a competitive, emotionally charged purchase. David earned that trust immediately. He spent an incredible amount of time with us - walking neighborhoods, shooting detailed videos, and giving us an on-the-ground feel for each area since we weren't local yet. His communication was outstanding: clear, timely, and thoughtful. Even though we know he has other clients, David always made us feel like we were his only ones. In the end, David helped us secure our dream forever home - walkable to everything: Marine St., downtown La Jolla, the Children's Pool, Windansea, and the beach lifestyle we envisioned from day one. We will always seek David out for any real estate transaction, and we recommend him without hesitation to anyone who wants expertise, dedication, and results.

His ability to communicate and work with you is second to none. He happily took us on as clients, understanding we had limitations and specific desires in a market where half of the consumers are looking to buy, flip and make a buck off older properties, and the other half have higher buying power than we did. This didn't deter Chris. It didn't stop him from jumping in the deep end and taking care of us. We took Chris through the gambit and looked at a slew of properties after having a few phone conferences and identifying what specific attributes we needed in our homes. He communicated with us on a near daily basis when properties that fit our criteria became available. He understood that, in the current market, urgency was key and scheduling a walkthrough was paramount. We even were able to get some more private showings prior to public open houses. Ultimately, we closed on a property that fit our needs and it was all due to him and his team. Thank you, Chris!

My parents worked with Matt when they purchased their home and spoke so highly of him that we knew we wanted to work with him too. Still, we did not fully understand just how exceptional he is until we went through the process ourselves. Our home search was not simple. We went through multiple scenarios and changing priorities. At first, we were trying to find a home where we could live with my aging parents. Then we shifted to finding a home just for our family, while still planning for future accommodations for them. On top of that, we had very specific requirements, including feng shui. We paid close attention to layout, flow, and door alignment, things most buyers probably never even consider. Through it all, Matt never once complained. He just rolled with it and probably learned more about feng shui than he ever expected. Matt was incredibly patient, flexible, and supportive. No matter how many times we changed direction, he stayed focused on helping us find what was truly right for us. When we felt ready to just pick something, he would slow us down and talk things through. He was always looking out for us. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and made himself available whenever we needed him, often arranging same day showings. We will never forget the weekend he showed us 10 homes in one day. What truly sets Matt apart is his integrity. He never pushed us. In fact, he sometimes advised us against homes that did not fully make sense for us. That honesty is rare. Even after the sale, he continues to offer help and is always available for questions. Matt is simply a wonderful person. He is kind, easygoing, and has a great sense of humor. Spending time with him never felt like a transaction. It felt like working with a trusted friend. He is truly someone you want to keep in your life even after the process is over.
