Being first time home buyers we had A LOT of questions about the process, and David took the time to answer them all. I truly felt like we were a top priority (even though I know he had many other clients)! He advocated for us and our well being through the whole process. I was also so impressed with how quickly he responded to calls and emails, even during evening hours, and weekends! He even called during his vacation to congratulate us after we closed on the home. His customer service is beyond excellent. I cannot express enough how pleased we were with David's work ethic, friendly personality, and knowledge of the home buying process. I would recommend him to anyone buying or selling in the Reno/Sparks area!

We first came across him from his Instagram "Moving to Reno Nevada" posting which included videos, overviews of the region, and specific recaps of several of the prominent developments in the area. Our interactions began over email and the phone and when we arrived he had taken our interests and key items we were searching for and had a number of potential options to show us. He took the time to take us to all of the areas so we could get a feel and refined his search based on our feedback of each property we visited. We never felt rushed, never felt he was losing patience with us, and always made us feel like we were his only clients at that moment. We received daily updates, he answered every call, text, and email completely answering any question or concern, and even still provides us continued white glove treatment after we have settled into our new home! He is an expert in the entire process and our offer was accepted over other competing offers. Just this week, (over a month after closing) David texts me with reminder to begin winterizing my irrigation system and to remove any hoses from the hose bibs in prep for upcoming low temperatures. Not only were we expertly supported and represented by David our Agent, but we have someone we trust and now consider a friend! David will be our only call if we are looking for another home in the area, or looking to assist another family member move to the region. If you want top notch, expert representation, support, and someone who is responsive to your every inquiry, look no further than David Tully of LPT Realty. We had an AMAZING experience with all the staff in this Incline Village office from start to…read morefinish! Since we primarily dealt with Matt and Larissa in person, I'll start there. This wonderful pair are the gold standard of real estate professionals with their finely tuned people skills and ability to really listen and hone in on what your priorities are. Throw in extensive expertise, great sense of humors and extraordinary kindness (Matt and Larissa even offered to meet the person we appointed to do our final walk-thru at 2am during a blizzard storm because he was driving in from San Diego and had never been to Tahoe before!) and you have the entire package. I put all my faith and trust in them when it came to getting us the home of our dreams when there were already multiple competitive offers and they came thru with flying colors! I cannot say enough about the good hands I was in having them looking out for us during our escrow period. Really terrific individuals with hearts of gold and I'm not one who bestows praise very easily. Being out of town during this process made us feel especially vulnerable, but Matt and Larissa acted as our trusted eyes and ears with every detail so things were always smooth sailing on our end. If something went wrong on the other end, (as things tend to do during this process) they were incredibly professional and never let on to any stress while handling it expediently and efficiently, which is exactly what you want during an experience like this because it tends to be innately nerve wracking just by virtue of being one of the biggest and most expensive decisions of your life! Alvin was also extremely cordial and let us know that he was not disappearing after the close of escrow if anything should come up with our new property. He would be there for us and take care of it. This is extremely RARE to hear. Cynthia was highly organized and had a great personable attitude in all her emails to me, always answering questions and finding out other details to enlighten us. I doubt you will find a more hardworking, ethical, knowledgeable, professional and (last but not least) fun team to guide you through buying or selling a home in Lake Tahoe than you can with the gems who represent this reality firm! In fact I'm currently trying to get other friends and family to move near me here up on gorgeous Middle Kingsbury and you can bet I know who to send them to!

The worst experience I've ever had in a real estate transaction. This guy was the owner/listing…read moreagent. He ghosted our agent after the appraisal came in under, which of course it would since he purchased it for $140,000 less in mid September and only painted and installed flooring and some minor other things in the house. I am pretty sure he was also fishing for back up offers after he accepted our full price offer and the appraisal didn't come in. We had less than two weeks to close at that point, pursuant to his counter, and he ghosted us for five days and forced us to come over in the middle of the worst storm in 51+ years to make it to close on 30 December, refusing to give an extension pursuant to his ghosting us- literally had to sign on the first day available after the 3 day waiting period and then close on the next day. When I got to the house on the day that we were closing to do the final walk-through there was literally zero propane in the tank to check heater, range, fireplace and water heater. Which was huge because this guy was so much of a slacker that he didn't even winterize the house and a pipe burst when he first put it on the market in November. I had to buy my own propane and beg somebody to deliver it that day so that I could do the final walk-through and test the appliances etc... The guy is very shady. Don't do it.

He told me what I should list the property for (which was $100K more than others suggested). He told me what would happen for the next 10 days. Over the next week, he did exactly as he told me: cleaned house, fixed garden, got inspections done, etc. He told me he'd try to sell it for a higher price before it was even listed. Well, he did! He sold it before it was listed for a price higher than we were planning to list it for. All cash offer. Couldn't be happier with the process and the result. I'm so happy with him that I'm taking him to dinner this weekend!

John knows the Truckee/Tahoe market inside/out and brings an unmatched level of experience, honesty, patience and professionalism. He is incredibly responsive (often within minutes), highly organized and never pushy. We felt that he was always operating on our timeline and looking out for our best interests rather than just trying to close a deal. Since we live in the Bay Area and couldn't always see homes in person, John made the process easy by taking detailed videos and clearly walking us through the pros and cons of each property. He was also extremely accommodating with our schedule whenever we needed to come up to Tahoe. On several occasions, when we thought we found the right house, John gave us honest guidance on why it might not be the best fit and he was right every time. He knew what would work for us even better than we did. His support continued well after closing. John helped us navigate the practical realities of owning a remote home in the snow, everything from snow removal services to maintenance planning and even coordinated access for contractors and furniture deliveries when we couldn't be there. Working with John made buying a vacation home in Truckee far easier and more enjoyable than we ever expected. John comes highly recommended. Do not look any further.

We had a great conversation and decided my wife and I would meet with him on the following Tuesday to look at homes. We met promptly as scheduled, spoke about one house my wife and I had looked at the night before meeting him (disappointing). After finding out more on what we were looking for, he said he had a few homes for us to look at. After grabbing coffee, he took us around the Dayton area. Third home we saw, my wife and I immediately knew this was the house would like. Due to some issues with my VA Home Loan, Mauricio offered the assistance of his local mortgage company. I accepted, and within a half hour or so, the mortgage company contacted me. I gave our agent some info and we agreed to meet about 2 1/2 hours later. The mortgage company overcame issues we had with the other company. Thirty days later, we took possession of our keys for our new home. I can't thank Mauricio enough for helping us find our home and assisting with helping us get our mortgage loan through his local mortgage company.

I wrote to Guy Johnson, who wrote a very thorough article on the subject, and he referred me to Rob & Dana. Even though escrow got pushed back two months by the buyer's lender and the wait for repairs from the storm damage to the roof, they made sure everything was in order and kept me posted. From the start, they have broken every stereotype I've had about realtors (you know the kind - those with bad dye jobs, a pound of makeup, and/or tacky matching sweaters) in those free real estate magazines.
