Nick was able to provide us with truly incredible "big wedding" shots. Nick is extremely talented and we could not be more satisfied with his work, including my wife who has a "discerning" (critical) eye for photography. He captured all the critical moments perfectly as well as the laughs and fun in between. But please note, water is the only drink you're allowed to take inside the theatre.! Our initial consultation was missed by about an hour because another appointment ran over. I understand things happen, but a quick message letting me know she was running late would have been common courtesy rather than leaving me waiting. I still decided to give her another chance, and we had our consultation the following day. Afterward, the contract was sent via text despite having my email, which made the process more complicated than necessary. I couldn't simply sign it in the moment; I would have needed to email it to myself and either print it or complete it electronically. The contract also did not originally include payment due dates, which I had to ask to have added. I explained that I was having a busy work week and would complete everything once I had time. A few days later, when I was ready to sign, the contract was no longer available in our text thread. I messaged asking for it to be resent and requested that it be emailed this time. My message was read, but I never received a response or another contract. It has now been a couple of weeks. As someone who intentionally tries to support Black-owned businesses, this was especially disappointing. Thankfully, I was able to find another Black-owned business to officiate our wedding, and the communication and professionalism have been a much better fit. I hate having to leave this type of review, but weddings are important events and communication matters. Between the missed consultation, contract issues, and ultimately being left on read when I was actually trying to move forward, I cannot recommend this service for a wedding based on my experience. Please do better with communication...and respectfully, if messages are going to be read without a response, turning off read receipts might be a good idea.
