I filled out the form and the doctor saw me right away. He did a 3-5 minute assessment of my shoulder issue and then had me lay on the table and proceeded to do acupuncture, which is not what I came in for. I decided to let it go and he put a bunch of needles in my shoulder and neck. Then had me roll over and did the same to the front. I will say that I my frozen shoulder did feel 50% better BUT he kept mentioning that he recommended me to take herbs to help for 5 weeks at 70 GBP per week. I declined. Then when I went to leave another person was at the counter with a bunch of herbs already bagged up told me the same that the doctor recommended the herbs for 5 weeks. I said no, and he said that there is a discount so the 5 weeks would cost 50 GBP per (250 GBP) I declined and as I went to leave he told me that the 55 GBP was for the consultation and that the acupuncture was 90 GBP. In the past month I've had acupuncture done in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco . This was more expensive than ANY of these cities. I think that the doctor was good, but the practices of the office leaves much to be desired. None of the other acupuncture places that I went to ever suggested herbs for the muscles in my shoulder. One sold me a muscle balm, which makes more sense. Beware

Fantastic, excellent treatment, lower back and both knees…read more Feeling so much better now, thank you.

Chinese medicine: Chinese medeicine has always been a…read morepart of traditional culture. It has a history of 5000 years and developed in a complete system that is capable of diagnosing, treating and preventing illnesses. While it can remedy ailments, alter states of mind, relieving pain and reversing disease, Chinese medicine can also enhance recuperative power, creativity and the capacity for work, pleasure and immunity. But not solely, it also has the capacity to reinforce optimal function by coaxing the kidney to perform better by activicating the circulation of blood. The principle of Chinese medicine is to balance Yin and Yand within the human body. In the same way as the balance of all things in nature such as heaven and earth, male and female, inner and outer, body and mind. Harmony of this union means energetic body with a healthy mind, while disharmony leads to disorder and illnesses. The strategy of Chinese medicine is to balance all things in order to restore harmony within the human body. Herbs: Herbal medicine is the result of combination of plants which are used for keeping and restoring the normal body functions. The number of herbs used for each condition varies from one or more and up to over 12 kinds of herbs in calculated proportion depending on the decision of the knowledge and experience of the practitioner. After a consultation with the doctor, a prescription and the correct combination of herbs will be given. Usually patients will feel the difference dearly after the first session. Acupuncture: For over 4000 years, acupuncture has been used to re-balance the body energy channels to relieve pain. This is particularly effective treatment for muscular and back pain. Acupuncture is also used with great success in the treatment of weight loss, stress relief and depression. The greatest benefit of acupuncture is the balancing of the body's Qi. This helps energy flow through the 14 meridinas improving general health and organ functions. TCMH conbines Acupuncture Massage and Herbal medicine to treat the problems and balance of the body on three effective levels. Cupping: Cupping is a treatment that involves using vacuum cups to pull the skin and reduce tension, relieving stiffness, aches and pains. This technique is best used with massage and acupuncture. Reflexology: As the tree has roots, so the feet are the roots of the body. In TCMH, the feet are the second heart. Precise pressure points on the feet are linked to the major organs. Our reflexologist can identify the body's health through treatment massage. This improves blood circulation help to detoxify and balance of the body.

Due to another individual walking off the street like me and my sister there was only one other 30 minute spot available because of a scheduled therapeutic pin sticking that was to occur in 20 minutes. So, I was opted for a 15 minute reflexology and was pleased with the care, though I would have loved an extra 15 minutes. Ding was performed the massage and was very good with pressure and overall process. I tried to make it back to the area again the next day, but it just wasn't in the cards. While I waited another individual walked in, and like me, requested a good ole foot and calf rub. Cost was one dollar per minute. I would come again, but it may be a while. Would recommend.

I was given a treatment of acupuncture, cupping and herbal medicines and they made me feel so good after the treatment, I went back for many more treatments. Cupping gives you round bruises all over your back, which gives indication how good or bad your circulation is in parts of the body. It's an uncomfortable treatment for about five minutes, and then it gets more manageable. It's an amazing treatment and can do a lot of good (I now understand why sports stars use cupping regularly). This clinic has quite a few English clients, the doctor is very nice and explain quite a bit and it helps. It's convenient that they open late because sometimes a combo treatment can make you quite tired if it activates circulation and one may need rest afterwards.

When you book a session you get to meet with the doctor first before any treatment is given for a bit of an interview and then you get a prescription which is put together upstairs. Man i can guarentee that it will taste terrible. One thing I do like about this place is that they wont spin you rubbish - for example I went with a problem and they refused to treat me until I went to my regular doctor first (As it could have been a sign of something quite serious) so I have a lot of respect for that. Some places would have just taken your money.

She recognised that I had quite a lot of pain in my shoulders and neck, and worked hard at them to decrease the pressure I was feeling. I've never had a massage that was so "medical," if that makes sense -- she asked numerous questions, and really seemed to care about my wellbeing. I wasn't sure about acupuncture at first, and told her I only wanted a massage, but she put a few needles in my back at the end of my hour-long session, and I found it really calming. I actually ended up committing to five more acupuncture sessions, which she recommended to treat my back. The second appointment I had with her, she actually arranged for a chiropractor friend, Andre, to work on me -- I'd not had chiro before, but I felt so much better after walking out of there! It was a bit challenging as I had to work on my breathing, but I've found myself standing a lot straighter since being stretched out. I'd definitely recommend seeing Chi if you have any aches and pains -- while a standard massage is relaxing, her technique and acupuncture is incredible. Just try and ignore that you're tucked away in a box-like room above a tanning salon, and you'll feel so relaxed and better for it. The location is amazing, however -- really close to Selfridges.
