Walked in yesterday to ask about the price for accupressure. The lady at the counter told me that…read moreit would be 55 GBP and to fill out a form. I filled out the form and the doctor saw me right away. He did a 3-5 minute assessment of my shoulder issue and then had me lay on the table and proceeded to do acupuncture, which is not what I came in for. I decided to let it go and he put a bunch of needles in my shoulder and neck. Then had me roll over and did the same to the front. I will say that I my frozen shoulder did feel 50% better BUT he kept mentioning that he recommended me to take herbs to help for 5 weeks at 70 GBP per week. I declined. Then when I went to leave another person was at the counter with a bunch of herbs already bagged up told me the same that the doctor recommended the herbs for 5 weeks. I said no, and he said that there is a discount so the 5 weeks would cost 50 GBP per (250 GBP) I declined and as I went to leave he told me that the 55 GBP was for the consultation and that the acupuncture was 90 GBP. In the past month I've had acupuncture done in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco . This was more expensive than ANY of these cities. I think that the doctor was good, but the practices of the office leaves much to be desired. None of the other acupuncture places that I went to ever suggested herbs for the muscles in my shoulder. One sold me a muscle balm, which makes more sense. Beware

Fantastic, excellent treatment, lower back and both knees…read more Feeling so much better now, thank you.

I guess it is one of my favorite spots in London now. Full of bright colors, it is a small alley just off Covent Gardens and has pretty and colorful buildings, with shops and cafes. picturesque and very hippy style, which is actually some kind of "reflection" of the person who created Neal's Yard. See, its the thing, when you don't expect it and that is surprisingly beautiful- it was the same case with Neal's Yard. and not everyone will say that - 'hey going to London, do visit this small courtyard' . Nope, it was all part of my research... , It's only about 5 minutes from Covent Garden market, and there are two alleyways that lead to it, but they're not particularly easy to spot: one is via Monmouth Street and the other is via Short's Gardens, which is just off Neal Street. A short wander through Seven Dials and you'll be greeted by all the quaint restaurants, famous shops, and vibrant ambiance that makes this London spot one for the books Indulge in one of the many stylish and yummy storefronts on offer, serving everything from organic goods to a fresh mani-pedi! What a colorful experience.

With buildings creating a triangular courtyard, it's a small location for a few restaurants and shops. There are some great spots to try here particularly if you're in the mood for breakfast, a tasty donut or pizza, but this isn't necessarily a destination in and of itself. The buildings are beautiful and colorful, but I would not make this a destination to visit. Rather, if you find yourself in the area, you can take a few minutes to walk through!

From the owner: Acupuncture Acupuncture is an ancient medical system which…read morehas been practised in China and other Eastern countries for thousands of years. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine Qi (or vital energy) circulates through a series of invisible channels beneath the skin. Qi consists of equal and opposite qualities - Yin and Yang - and when these become unbalanced, the flow of Qi is disrupted and over time, ill health may occur. The flow of Qi can be disturbed by factors such as emotional states, poor nutrition, stimulants, weather conditions, hereditary factors, infections, toxins and trauma. Acupuncture involves the gentle insertion of very fine needles in key areas along the channels (acupuncture points) to stimulate and balance Qi in order to restore health. Taking into account a wide range of signs and symptoms (including tongue and pulse diagnosis) the aim is to identify a pattern which points to an underlying imbalance that can be corrected by safe and effective treatment. Often described as a means of pain relief, acupuncture is in fact used to assist people with a wide range of health issues, including: Pain Sports injuries Repetitive strain injuries Arthritis Rheumatism Insomnia Anxiety and depression Respiratory disorders Digestive problems Gynaecological issues Allergies Circulatory problems Headaches Immune disorders It may be possible to improve the symptoms of other conditions and it is always worth enquiring about any particular problem you may have.
