When we started our journey with Chris Brown it was great he was there when we needed him and answered all the questions we had. After we came in to sign the paperwork seems like things were turned upside down. Chris became unavailable yes it was due to training classes but when we told him many times we need to speak to him directly he couldn't take a few minutes before or after his training to give us a call. Inside he would text us or push us off on his team Toni or Anne. Through the process with the whole team we asked many times for them to explain something and we kept getting the same song and dance, even one time was told to stop worry everything would be fine. If everything was fine we would be seeing our closing costs going from $3,400's to $3,900 to $4,200 to $4,600 and finally to $5,200's at closing with no details why its increasing. This is my first home its my right to wonder and know the reason for the increase. We were also told that if you paid Debit or check for the Appraisal it would be credited back to you at closing, than weeks later we find that it would only be credited if there was seller credit left at the end. We were also told that the 2nd reappraisal would be collected at the closing and not to worry there is not extra money out of packet. Next time i look at my bank account I am now missing $175 for a reappraisal. My biggest issue about this was it was unauthorized I never gave Toni or Anne or anyone the okay to charge my account a 2nd time and I didn't even have a warning. When i brought this us to Toni it was just a sorry. When I brought this up to Chris he ended up pushing back to Toni instead of giving me a call to discuss this. Sorry but if one of my employees just broke the law i would make sure i call the person right away not text them. There were many other lies from Toni and Anne as well. Little things like saying an Appraisal was submit 1 day than find it wasn't submit until the following when we were trying to get the 3rd appraisal in so we might of had a chance to close on time. Little things like being told that FEMA and HUD just now released the lock for Appraisals than finding out from the same person later that same day it was released the day before. For these reason and many more I would never use Chris or his team again. I would not refer anyone to Chris. Yes the work was completed, Yes it was a week late, but when with a week extra we still found ourselves 30 minutes before closing searching for answers that we have been asking about for weeks. read more

Chris Brown and his team made buying our first home easy. They were with us every step of the way. They took the time to answer all our questions and concerns whether we called, text, emailed, or dropped by the office. The team is very professional, kind, and communicative. I looked forward to Tuesday tuneup with Tony. Kelly was extremely helpful and patient taking time to help us submit all of our forms and documents. Definitely a great team and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! read more

It had been already three weeks since we complete the closing of our first "home". As a newlywed family with two kids and a lots of illusions, there was missing a final piece to complete the perfection of our life. After we got married, we set up the plan for having the dream house to come true, this included budgeting, careful analysis of the monthly debt, getting advises from our parents and our closest friends, and a lot of faith in our Lord. We moved to Orlando due to my work and new horizons started to paint ahead of us: What is a good neighborhood? How can we invest our savings? How can we do for making this first experience not so painful?, a lot of questions crossed to our minds during our first two years of planning. Then a new assignment came, I was relocated back to Argentina for at least two years. New country, different culture, new challenges, in almost two years our dreams continued, but our planning basically stopped; it was not until two month before coming back when we decided to get back on the notepad and sketch a plan. "We will arrive to Orlando and we'll start the house hunting", and so we did. On a December 31st afternoon, your name came across the screen of the tablet, and by chance I clicked "Contact Chris Brown". That millisecond was crucial for bringing up a lot of questions ringing in my head. How will you trust this "guy"?, Why him and not the second option?, Will this person know how to deal with a "couple" like us?. It was not up to a couple of hours when you called us and then the questions started to vanish, and our trust grew to a point of dealing with you as a very old friend. You, your team and everyone that supported us trough all this experience, guided us from the perspective of a very experienced team, who knows the market and the right moves at every step. With all our heart, we will like to thank you and your Team (Renee, Dee, Aimee, Tony), which were always one call away to our very minimum questions, and always guiding us in the right path. We can say for sure that we will recommend our new brothers and sisters from CMPFL for this adventure of getting a house. Thanks our friends. God Bless you all.. I worked with the Chris Brown team to purchase our second house during the pandemic. To say this was one of the easiest processes is an understatement. We bought our first house with our bank and the red tape and frustration we went through made this process look like a cakewalk. Tony was available via text or phone whenever we needed him as was his team. He is so knowledgeable and takes the time to explain every little detail. I will be recommending the CBT to anyone who is looking to buy a house. These guys are a class act! Thanks for everything. We couldn't be happier! read more

Tony was great! He answered every question, anytime of the day everyday. He coached us through the entire experience, told us what to expect and was very patient with us. There was a little issue on our way to closing, I called him and he took care of it! Thanks for everything Tony and team! read more

This team really helped me with a unique situation regarding a car I co-signed for but don't actually pay on. They were extremely helpful and very quick to respond to any and all of my questions. Remember they can only work as quickly as you help them. So when they need something get it to them quickly! I would recommend to others! read more

I was very skeptical about who to give my information to so I was doing a lot of comparison to find out that not all lenders were able to provide an LTV of more than 125%. Chris Brown really made it happen for my family to get a better rate and save me a lot of money. Thank you Chris Brown read more

It's hard to summarize in a paragraph how outstanding Chris and his team are ... They truely show compassion and understanding and the best part is that it's genuine. Most brokers treat you as the next deal but with Chris and his team I felt as I was their only client and no matter when or why I called them ,they always were there to answer any questions and they never seem bothered or annoyed or inconvenienced. They guided me all the way and I looked forward to their " Tuesday update " I will for sure be a repeat client and will recommend them to everyone . Also I want to send a personal thank you to Ann Campione for all her hard work and dedication she is an asset to the team for sure ! Please don't hesitate to use their assistance as they are very trustworthy and knowledgeable. read more

After a long series (100 +days) of empty promises, vague terminology like 'breaking log jams", "gaining momentum", and "close to finalizing", and a series of emoticons from Chris Brown, I was shuffled to another consultant. After another month on her desk, I was told that the loan could not get approved. THen I was asked to consider renting the property (when all of my paperwork clearly listed the property as already being a rental). DO not believe the hype, consider this team "out to lunch." ***As far as not disclosing being paid in foreign currency, that is false. if working for a foreign company in a foreign country, and filing foreign earned income on my taxes isn't clear enough, then check our first correspondence and open the attachments. Had you opened and read my payslips, the clearly show being paid in a foreign currency. read more

Though this process was lengthy (almost 7 months from initial contact w/Chris and the team) it was definitely beneficial. Our HARP 2.0 closing occurred last week. The CMP team ALWAYS replied promptly to our concerns (and trust me there were a few). I know folks have choices out there for this program but after viewing Chris on the local FOX TV segments I came away with a sense that the guy could make it happen for us and potentially others. I confirmed this near the end of our process when several other offers were being made to us. It let me know that we were at the end of a successful real estate story (upside down home owners everywhere know this). The savings from this program will make a huge difference in our quality of life. Thanks to all at CMP! read more
