A long time ago, Chris had knocked on my front door and we shared the most delightful conversation about investing and what he could potentially offer me. Selecting a financial advisor is a crucial decision that one should not take lightly. And, it's a decision that shouldn't be made spontaneously. I wasn't actively looking for a financial advisor in that moment, but I knew I needed some assistance with selecting bond funds. I trusted my gut instinct and took a rare leap of faith (this is the antithesis of my usual mode of operation.) I began investing with Chris in February of 2018. Selecting Chris as my advisor was one of the best decisions of my life. Chris is kind, honest, a fiduciary (some advisors are not fiduciaries, so be careful out there), intelligent, thoughtful, has an easy-going personality and takes the time to LISTEN to my concerns and to educate me. I never feel rushed when we are having a conversation. I am happy with the guidance he has provided. He discusses fees and commissions with utter transparency. He knows who I am and what is important to me (without having to reference his notes). And, I know him as well. I would trust him to manage my account even if I were to lose the capacity to oversee his management. (We just discussed this today, even though I am still perfectly fine.) I trust him that much.
