I email to bakery on December 26th with the cake picture they requested. I called on January 15th to verify that there was going to be a cake since it was ordered the month prior. I was told yes a smash cake and cup cakes were made and just needed to be iced. I was told it would be ready Saturday at my 1pm pick up time. We showed up a few minutes after our scheduled pick up time and our smash cake and cupcakes were not iced/decorated. They apologized and said the manager was coming in at 3pm to fix the problem. We were told the smash cake and cup cakes would be ready by 3:30pm. Our party was at 2pm, but we gave them the extra time. We show up at 3:30pm and the cake and cupcakes were still not iced/decorated. The owner who was suposed to come in to fix the problem still was not there at 3:30pm. We canceled our order and had to make a quick run to Walmart for a smash cake and cupcakes. This was my daughter's 1st birthday party. I had planned it out maticolusly with the right color scheme for streamers, balloon boquets, banners, a picture clip banner with pictures of the 1st year of her life, etc. I can't believe a Professional bakery could mess up this badly!
