She had great energy which was needed that early. Her attitude helped make the process faster and she even said I could finish the papers later if I get called back. She offered me water. The tech that came to see me in the room Heather was pleasant and informative. She didn't jam the swab up my nose like most caregivers. The entire staff had smiles the entire time. Dr. Bernon was pleasant and extra cautious, he had me do an X-ray just to be sure it wasn't bronchitis. Oh and the X-rays are in-house!! That was a relief. The whole process was maybe 45 max. That's one of the fastest visits I've had at urgent care. He didn't just send me home saying have some tea and rest. He gave me prescriptions for my cough and congestion. He even gave a doctors note without even asking! I'm happy with my service and I'll be back when I have any medical issues...hopefully a long time from now though. Thinking it must have been an accidental disconnection, surely a professional medical office wouldn't be that incredibly rude, my wife called back. She wanted to clarify if perhaps there was a misunderstanding, or if a specific provider within the practice did accept our insurance. Instead of a brief conversation, she was immediately hung up on for a second time. This was not a fluke. This was deliberate, hostile, and utterly unprofessional. The level of disrespect and arrogance displayed by this staff is absolutely astounding. I do not understand how a business like this stays operating, though in a place like Calvert, they likely only survive because patients have so few other options. Even if we decided to pay completely out of pocket, I would never, under any circumstances, patronage this clinic. If this is how they treat people over a simple phone inquiry, I dread to think how they treat patients under actual medical care. But instead of it going smoothly they are hounding me for all this other information that I don't even know and my other drs told me it is not an issue not knowing. At this time this doctor noticed severe decay in front of a molar he pulled, and said he doubted the tooth could be saved. Why after 4 years being seen at patuxent dental did they never see this decay? When I called and complained they set me up with an appointment, and then the day prior to the appointment they called and said they needed to end our patient client relationship. So if you complain about their bad dentistry practices , rather than fixing the issues they will simply drop you as a patient. It is very easy to see why two highly skilled dentist left this practice, and believe me I should have never gone there, all they care about is big money procedures like crowns, implants, etc while they let the rest of your teeth rot.
