I've had the opportunity to work with a number of Real Estate agents over the years. Susan is head…read moreand shoulders above the rest. Her knowledge of the local market helped guide us in the direction of properly and effectively listing, preparing and showing our house. After sorting through 31 offers above the asking price, Susan helped us choose the right buyer for our situation. Susan's experience positioned her to provide meaningful insight and suggestions during the process. She is direct in her assessments of situations while maintaining flexibility when considering our opinions and expectations. While working with Susan, she was always available by phone, text, email and in person to brainstorm ideas and answer questions. Communications were timely and effective. Susan's partner John is the analyst and techie on the team. He was very effective in explaining market data and helping us understand how our property was positioned in the market. He developed a nice, effective listing tool (the Tree) that helps keep all the relevant information connected and in one place for easy access. John is also the, get everything else done guy. Any loose end that needed to be tied up, John was on it immediately. Once we sold our house, we immediately enlisted Susan to help us buy our new house. We were looking to buy outside of Susan's typical territory. This was not a deterrent for her. She made several trips with us during the week and on weekends to view properties. Applying the skills and capabilities described above, she helped us close on our new house. If you are looking for a Real Estate agent who is both professional and personable, that can get you the best result, and who can and will guide you through the process start to finish, you should choose Susan.

To everyone out there who understands and appreciates a broker who will always tell you the truth…read moreand will navigate you through thick and thin: you cannot do any better than Beth Sievers! Beth went above and beyond in helping me renovate my NYC co-op apartment while I was living in Michigan. I had such confidence in her that I didn't even feel compelled to come to NYC to check on progress and I am a Type A control freak. Moreover, Beth did not miss a beat and kept going through the pandemic. Her savvy got me a terrific price on my apartment and pushed the lawyers and the management company to a closing this month. I cannot say enough about Beth. She is smart, strong, savvy and she's not going to engage in phony ass-kissing. Maybe that is why the other reviewers panned her. I happened to treasure her honesty and directness. Kudos to Compass for snagging Beth. Can't say enough about her.

Although we finally sold our apartment on the upper West side, working with Beth Sievers was…read moreabsolutely difficult and unpleasant. Even though she represented us and was supposed to be our agent, she was an advocate for the person who placed a bit on the apartment. For starters, she does not know how to read financials submitted by the buyer. She was sloppy in the review and was adamant in her over estimation the proposed buyer's financial assets. Furthermore, contract negotiations process was a nightmare dealing with her. Even the most minor changes that we requested to the contract, she challenged and warned that they would be "deal breakers". Fortunately we had more sense and experience as a result of previous purchases or sales. A great deal more can be said that illustrates her lack of competence/experience as a real estate agent. So why did we use her? She was a neighbor and lived in the same building, so we were willing to have her represent this sale - even though she had no prior sales in any of the Lincoln Towers buildings. It was an error in judgment on our part. She lacks experience and does little to gain a sellers confidence.
