I am very disappointed with my experience at Women's Health Advantage. I had an appointment…read morescheduled for 11:00 a.m. and was specifically instructed to arrive at 10:45 a.m. to complete any necessary paperwork. When I arrived at 10:45 a.m. to check in, the receptionist told me that I was late and that my appointment was actually scheduled for 10:30 a.m. I had received a confirmation message several days before my appointment showing the appointment time I was given, and I tried to show the receptionist the email to explain that there appeared to be an error in their system. She was rude and would not even look at the email I was trying to show her. Because of the scheduling issue, I was told that I would have to wait until everyone else was seen before I could be seen, even though I arrived at the time I was instructed to arrive. I asked to speak with a manager because I felt this situation was unfair. The manager apologized, but the response felt dismissive, and I did not feel that anyone took responsibility for the inconvenience or the possibility that I could miss my appointment because of an error on their end. I understand that scheduling mistakes can happen, but I expected the staff to listen, review the confirmation I had received, and treat me with basic courtesy. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and as though my time did not matter. I hope management addresses how situations like this are handled in the future so other patients do not have the same experience.

The selection of available frames is second to none, I've been wearing essentially the same style of glasses for the past ten years or so because everything else at my old optometrists office seemed to be made for 90 year old women. Now I finally have something different and I'm thrilled with my glasses. I don't write many reviews and never expected I'd be writing one for an optometrist, but when you find one this good and know how bad some can be I feel a personal obligation to inform people.
