Some of us get off work at 5 or sometimes a little after since we don't lock the doors before closing time and by the time we hit traffic 5:20-5:30 is the best we can do. If you don't want to see me and help me between 5:20 and 5:30 then change your sign PLEASE! That way I don't drive all the way across town as fast as I can for absolutely NOTHING!!!

Elkhounds are beautiful, loving, smart dogs and every breeder I've come across is very protective…read moreof the breed. That means they generally aren't in it for the money and you'll have to jump through a lot of hoops if you'd like to get one. And that's fine by me because the chances of having to deal with a heartbreaking disease or illness down the line is minimal. I live in Austin and drove all the way to Mississippi to get my 4th Elkie from Magnolia Ridge and let me tell you. She's a beauty. Nancy does a great job and clearly loves this breed. If you are looking for a Norwegian Elkhound, I highly recommend Magnolia Ridge.

We've done both a full-on groom the first time and then just recently a 'mini" groom...super satisfied both times. The staff here is so warm and welcoming and friendly, and I can tell from how our pup acts coming home he hasn't been traumatized in any way (a problem for an earlier groomer not here in Starkville). Highly HIGHLY recommend these folks for any grooming needed for your doggo.

A bunch of young adults work here who don't actually care for your canine. Please for the sake of your dog avoid at all costs!!!!!!
