Tried their waffles. It was very crispy on the outside and moist in the inside. The portion is a bit small, but a good size to eat it by yourself. Also tried their hot black chocolate drink. I took black because I didn't want something sweet, but even then, it was still too sweet to my liking. I would go back for the waffles, but not the drink.

I came here opening day. The venue is identical to the chocolat favouris/juliette et chocolat kind of feel deco. I really like the outside seating area with an warming table. I discovered from Quebec city, that this franchise is a popular chain for icecream/sundaes (their specialty). Inside, there were at least 20 students getting trained in the back that were running around like headless chickens. Management didn't seem to have any idea of organization or paying particular attention to customer service. When I finally got to my turn for being served, I was told to wait by the manager, no reason given..waiting..waiting..finally I asked the cashier- what am I exactly waiting for to order? she said the client a head of me went to get his wallet- I turn back and he is counting coins on the table still. I was happy to know the cashier took the time to at least address the pause in waiting. However, the manager? shouldn't he a bit more considerate in having better communication skills- rewind, it is ok I will let it go- I get it, first day, training students (maybe should've delayed the opening). We ordered a banana split sundae for 9.19$- 3/5 and a watermelon slushie. The presentation of the sundae was terrible- there was nothing appetizing watching them cut up an overripened banana and then squirting chocolate syrup on my sundae. Even, McDonalds does a better job with presentation. I really enjoyed the quality of the icecream-it was rich and had great flavour but I don't know if I would play 10$ for this again? The slushie didn't taste like watermelon either. Will I come back here? probably not- If anything maybe letting some time pass before a next visit will get their game on for getting more organized. Until then- this is just another overpriced fancy icecream joint. No thanks.

When walking in you wear a mask and get an associate and the fun begins they grab whatever cup size you want and put in the candies for you. Which is great because now you don't have to worry about everyone touching all the scoop handles and candy. We chose quite a few and saw we were close to the top but the employee encouraged us to go all the way to the top. We also found some really unique popcorn flavours and bought a bag as well. The candies tasted great but how can you go wrong with sugar !

They even have flying saucers (sour sherbet-filled melt-in-your-mouth candies) which I was happy to see after a long time. Some other favourites that I wasn't expecting to see: Popeye sticks, push pop, love hearts, gob stoppers and those large fruit shaped candies! The interior and packaging of the sweets is very classy. Many of the sweets are packed beautifully in more of a gift form rather than grab and go sweeties. Because of this, I feel the selection can appeal to any age as there is something for everyone. They would make lovely party favours! Great treat for the South-Shore but not so much for the parents. Prices are quite steep and some are ridiculous for what they are (a tiny pack of flying saucers at 5$). I guess they can get away with it due to the rarity of the merchandise but still...

I had always heard about this place but never had I been as it always had a long line. I'm happy did though! The service was quick and efficient and the interior was huge. I ended up getting the dark chocolate dipped brownie ice cream and when I say it was one of the best ice creams I've ever had, I'm not lying! The chocolate dip was nice and thick around the ice cream. It had the perfect crunch. The interior was a soft serve vanilla ice cream. I'd recommend everyone go and try this place out!

It's a fairly large space and I can see this place getting really busy if it wasn't for COVID. They sell a variety of prewrapped chocolates and other chocolate-based goods. They also sell some handmade chocolate truffles by the piece as well as the very famous dipped ice cream. Although the ice cream was enticing, we were full and we were specifically looking for gifts. So nothing really jumped out at me in terms of things to buy that was special. But we did end up getting a dozen handmade chocolates with some alcohol filling for the family. We didn't get to taste them but they seemed fancy (along with the fancy price). We easily picked out our chocolates and paid quickly as there was only one other group in the store with us. Another option for chocolate treats out in DIX30. I will have to try out their ice cream next time!

The food is certainly delicious and the chocolate is incredible. I usually get their cafe latte bol size, a buckwheat crepe and some kind of dessert with chocolate. It's always worth the indulgence at this place! This time I had my latte bol and a galette bûcheronne and a fondant au chocolat. Delicious! Service was fairly good throughout the meal but one time we had to ask for water. The only mildly detracting things about this place are that it certainly could be cleaner and it's also really popular with kids. While this is all good if the kids are well behaved occasionally you get a screaming kid or crying baby which can detract from your enjoyment of the food. On this visit, I also purchased some chocolate fondues to take home and the line to buy their retail products was very long and slow. The woman in front of me just got frustrated with the slow service and left. It seems like restaurant orders take priority over retail sales. Folks were just waiting in line a long time to pick up or purchase retail items while all the staff were preparing coffee drinks and running food to tables. They are likely short staffed right now as their were hiring adverts all over the place.

For us, we forgot our cards in the hotel, but we did have photos of our cards, so we showed the photo and provided our photo ID which good thing I had my drivers license with me! You basically come in order at the front, then go to the seating to wait for food. Now, it does kind of take a while to get the food. I'm sure they were low in staff as it was Christmas time and well, you know....COVID. So don't expect a quick meal. We got our crepe and it was quite hearty! And they have a small container of salad which I really appreciated. Kind of wished there was more. You eat with disposable utensils to reduce having to clean or exposure of COVID. There is a water station with plastic cups. We did stop by here another day to pick up some chocolate goodies to bring home. I would imagine the brownies would be amazing but we stuck to the crepes and mochas which was pretty rich. Overall, it was a great way to spend a little time with family, food and drinks were good, just took a bit of time to get it. But the service was friendly which is always a plus.

Inside it really is a little chocolate heaven! It smells like chocolate and there are big chocolate machines of so many flavours that you need to take a moment to decide what to have. Despite coming from the home of the famous Cadbury factory, I was very impressed by this mini chocolate factory. There is a lot of choice in the shops and also menu so be prepared to be overwhelmed!! In general, I am not an ice cream fan so I decided to go for the smallest size... To my surprise, it was huge - portions are extremely generous and also price is reasonable for the amount you get! I went for the coffee chocolate coating and took a big bite out of it... The contrast between the hard chocolate and the soft ice cream was heavenly, I was able to bite on something yet enjoy the soft whipped ice cream at the same time... A perfect combination! The terrace seating is nice and spacious but the view of the main road really lets it down unfortunately... Overall, so far this the only ice cream that I have so that says a lot for someone who doesn't like ice cream!!
