The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the aroma of fresh chocolate and displays of their famous slabs, pralines, and seasonal creations. Everything looks (and tastes) amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering samples and explaining the different flavors, which makes the experience fun and welcoming. CHF9.90 for 100g from the slabs isn't that bad. They are quite the size of your palm and that is quite big enough to enjoy. You can get a smaller size too if you want to try them all. It's a great spot for picking up gifts to bring home, but honestly, you'll probably want to treat yourself too. A sweet highlight of my Zürich trip.

The hand made quality of the chocolates is easy to taste, even in the mass produced bars and truffles. The employees here are nice and willing to give samples. I was shocked to see a Sugar free hazelnut bar! It had real Hazelnuts and it was delicious! It didn't have any chemically aftertaste either! High quality!

Although it was 100% in German, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and got to make our very own chocolate bars. The employees were so kind and I think they felt a little sympathetic as we don't speak German. Yes, the chocolate is pricey but it's an experience and worth every penny.
