Make a point, to not speak FRIVOLOUS WORDS, constantly.... What good are you, and all the Boards etc., you "serve" on? Do you think that's impressive to me? It is, only if the RESULTS of it show, and from my perspective, you're not that impressive. Though I am glad I suppose, for those who say they've had great experiences with you, and see you every 6 months. Hospitalized Care, is different than that. I couldn't even get Burre, to take my son as a client, so he could get referrals to the sedated dental care, at St. Joe's. It's absolutely RIDICULOUS, that there is only ONE avenue, within HOURS of drive time and expense. And that ONE AVENUE, from what I have experienced anyway, COMPLETELY STINKS! If Darla thinks I'm the rude one, she should think again! She already had weird things happen, that were crooked- with Sam Kennedy. That, was a HUGE MESS. (Anyone wants to know, there are records and a story). THEN came the, "I won't put him with Sam...." speech, and my sons CARE WAS DELAYED BY A YEAR, because of her botch. Now, it was 6 months past due this time, and I have quite a story for anyone who wants to know the story, behind what I WAS DOING, while Darla was blowing me off.....AGAIN! It would have been far longer than that, if I hadn't pushed it so hard. I'm not trying to sound paranoid, but I remember when I first met Darla, I didn't think she liked me. I swear, I don't know why she wouldn't have, for I didn't know her at all. You know, you just feel them vibes. Well, they are true to the core. That woman doesn't like me, and she's what is standing in-between my autistic, non-verbal, hard to deal with, son- and his DENTAL NEEDS!!! HEY DARLA! YOU STINK!!!!! Guess what VOTERS, and Advocates? You cannot file a grievance in the State of Ca., against a Dentist for: Billing Disputes, Personal Conflict, or Quality of Care. Can you believe this garbage? Can't file a grievance?! I'm still trying to find out, where I can leave an official "record." I do know one way, but it's a bit of a pain to have to do it. Anyway, at least I have a Public Form, with the Internet, for the people who really matter- like YOU! So Voters and Advocates! What to do? Write a Bill? Legislation ? Does anybody else, see this as a problem? Why can Dentist's get away, with Negligence? That's a bunch of crap! No wonder I had so many problems with these people. Sam, I had to have the State of California, Office of Sacramento come up here to Eureka, and face to face tell him, he wasn't getting any money out of me. Of course, Darla thought I should just pay the man, when he billed both ME and Medi-Cal, from a prior office visit! Yup- them suckers need to be LEGALLY held accountable. How bizarre they can't be! Meanwhile, I'll do what I can, to hold her accountable myself. If she ever actually made positive changes, I'd get off her back. I'm always try to keep some hope, for a better day. The only dentist my kids trusted right away to allow her to check out their mouth and teeth. She is patient, kind, helpful, smart sweet on top of it consistent and takes the time to get to know her patients and answer everything asked, and reassuring us the whole time that she is confident in her practice and staff, these are extremely important details to anyone looking for an excellent experience and it's not always easy or fun finding somdone so utterly wonderful and helpful in all aspects of the appointments you have with her and staff. The front staff ladies are the most professional, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable staff I have ever dealt with. They always remember me by name, and keep track of what times work for me and my preferences. Tommy and Amber are the two that I have had contact with the most, and they are awesome. Gianna, I believe is the dental assistant who takes X-rays and assisted with my crown and other work. She is so sweet and extremely gentle and is always willing to explain procedures and answer my questions. She has great input and is extremely professional. I actually started to LOVE getting my teeth cleaned after coming here. Jackie is the best. She lets me know my problem areas with tips that I can do to fix them, and also praises me when she sees good progress (which is always nice to hear). I love chatting with Jackie and she is extremely nice and gentle while cleaning my teeth. Dr. Stuan is really cool, and easy to talk to. What I like best is that he doesn't push any work on you. I had a tooth that I thought would have needed work done - but it wasn't causing any pain or anything, so Dr. Stuan actually suggested we wait on it. When the time came, Dr. Stuan took care of it and now I have a really nice crown in its place! Before coming here, I hadn't been to a dentist in over 10 years so I was very afraid of what they might say. But after being a patient here I love coming to the dentist!
