That's one of the best places in Trento to have lunch or dinner. Fresh ingredients and super fast and friendly service by Andrea and Enrice, so kind and gentile! In the end they kindly offered me a shot of limoncello, and also best regards to their chef, the main course was fantastic!!! Absolutely come back here next time

This is a cute restaurant on a quiet side street with quiet music providing ambience. The service was great. The food (we ordered pizza and salad to share) was very good. The staff was very warm and friendly. I would come back and highly recommend this place! read more

DONT GO! THEY SCAM!!!! Food was mid tier and they brought out "free" appetizers that we had to pay for. We had to pay €150 extra because of that then the servers acted clueless when we were upset. You're better off just getting pick pocketed than going there. Wish I could give 0 stars. So unbelievably disappointing. read more

food--superb and perfectly prepared. 5 stars service--friendly and efficient. 5 stars. Ambience--like a small trattoria. The only reason for 4 stars. Prices--very reasonable for the quality and inventiveness of the food. The best part? We would go back. read more

We chose this pizzeria because it was sunday and there is not a lot of places to eat on sunday. It was a good choice. Onion soup for starter-delicios. Very good. My lasagne was also great, big portion, extra parmesan was like a final touch. Friends ate pizza- one of them said that it was the best pizza he ever had. Didn't try-we have to believe. :) Small bottle of Pinot Grigio (0,375) was 10 or 12 EUR. Not so cheap but tasty indeed. That's nice that even on sunday's night there is some place where you gan get delicious meal. read more

We visited the nice, but tiny city of Trento during August when most of the business is on holiday. Ristorante Chiste' was busy with cooking and serving its customers - mixture of tourists and locals - what was a good sign. For lunch we tried two different dishes (three meals). First, Linguine Scogli was served and this meal satisfied our desire for seafood. The portion was reasonable (for a hungry man). The same is true for Spaghetti vongole (clams) - however, the amount of clams was just average. Finally we tried Salad Trentina with grilled chicken and yogurt dressing which fulfilled the need for a tasty, crunchy chicken, but didn't surprise in terms of the dressing which was mild and flat. It's recommended to taste wine in the region of Trento - famous for its vineyards. Ristorante Chiste' had a specialist in wines who offered us a local specialty (red, resembling Merlot) for a reasonable price. Overall, we were satisfied with the service and meals. read more

Also food wise, they cater local food that seems a mixture between Italian, Austrian and German cuisines, including Pretzels and dumplings. We shared an excellent mixed plate with meats (for them) and four types of cheeses (for me :-) ) for starters. As a main dish I had the local spinach gnocci, with came shaped as big dumplings. Not something you want to eat a whole pan off, but one plate of it was very tasty. Also, when you're here, don't forget to taste some of the great home-brewed beers. The staff is sometimes a bit hasty, probably due to it being a large place with many customers to serve, but when you ask for their attention you are usually served pretty fast.
