Made an appointment with the services through via phone, letting them know that I will be paying cash to start and that I don't have approval insurance yet however, when I get to the appointment, there were three young African-American ladies at the desk asking for my insurance information and I told them when I spoke to the representative on the phone that I did not have insurance, but I did just get approval for insurance and I told her if I can give her my member ID number, MHS insurance through Medicaid and she said oh no we don't take Medicaid at all you can call this number and get a refund for the 10 or $20. You paid just kind of brush me off and was being very rude when I left it was giggles and laughter. When I called to get the refund, the lady told me that they do except Medicaid so I'm wondering what was the problem at this location with the rude workers. read more

First time going to chiropractor for lower back pain. I really love my experience in Chiro One-Lansing. Dr Rida , she's really great. Petite beautiful and jolly doctor but she's very strong. Only few sessions I had it helped me a lot. I had trouble getting comfortable position to sleep before the treatment but now I feel better. The staff at the clinic, they really took care of me and I see that they do it to everyone else. Very welcoming. The only problem for me is the distance. Quite far from me but love it there. I'm still continuing my treatment plan closer to my house. I hope that doctor and staff there are the same in Lansing. read more

I took a chance and completed the free evaluation that I received at Baconfest. When I visited the office, I got a complete work up and through a very no pressure process, the staff helped me understand how complete chiropractic care could help me in the long run. I had always thought that the chiropractor was for people who were seriously injured. I have seen a change in my posture and an improvement in my lower back and joints. I just thought I was getting old and this is what I was going to have to live with. Not so! The whole staff is intent on making sure you are informed about your overall health. I haven't attended any of the free information sessions, but they cover just about everything. When you walk in, it's like you are walking into a familiar, comfortable place where they greet you by name. They remember little things about you. Everyone in the office is so friendly and kind, without being invasive. Even when there are other doctors or technicians that come in as vacation relief, they are just as friendly. At the end of my initial treatments and visits, I received a hand written card thanking me for visits. My only complaint is that there aren't any offices in Northwest Indiana, closer to where I live and work. read more

This place is absolutely RAD! MY girlfriend and I feel at home and the staff here is the reason why. I don't know how they put up with us but they do!=) From a health standpoint I though I was in decent shape. But after a few weeks of visits I feel incredible! This is my second round of getting adjustments here after not being able to go for a few years in between. In just a few weeks, I was able to feel a difference in my lower back and hips. I no longer, or very rarely, feel the same pain and pressure in my hips that used to shoot down one or both of my legs multiple times a week. My neck mobility has also improved. The environment is also very welcoming and friendly between the entire staff and patients. I thoroughly enjoy coming in for my therapies and adjustments. read more

I have never been to a bone and joint specialist. This was my first time visiting one. I was in such agony, I walked around and even slept with a neck pillow. I wasn't able to turn my head to the right. When I tried the torment shot down from my neck to my shoulder and completely through my back. After the first week of therapy and adjustments, I was able to turn my head to the right at least 10%. It's been about 4 weeks now, and I'm able to turn my head to the right at least 45% with very little pain. Every morning when I wake, the pain is less and I'm able to turn to the right. I was feeling optimistic. The representative from Chiro One had visited my job and he's very nice and I thought hey, its just $20. Yep, a $20 I will be getting a refund for. We scheduled the appointment for the same day and something came up at my son's daycare. After receiving that call, I went straight to my appointment, after all I figured; it's paid for and I'm a little early so I can get out early. Not the case. Door was locked and upon knocking a lady opened the door to tell me the office doesn't open until 3 (It was 2:33 p.m.) I said yes, I was hoping to arrive early so I can get out early something else has come up. She said well we have a meeting and we don't open until 3. I said okay, just cancel me then. She asked if I would like to reschedule and I told her I will call. My mom always told me "First impressions are everything". What they don't know is that I work at a well known hospital in Chicago assisting gastroenterologists during colonoscopies almost every day. With that being said, when a patient arrives early, already nervous, hesitant, have a bunch of other things going on in their life- We NEVER turn them away. We don't do this because we don't want to inconvenience our doctors or scores. We do this because we truly understand those feelings having been in those shoes before and we KNOW HOW IMPORTANT getting their colonoscopy is for their health. WZUP EVERYONE! I'd like to share that I have been honored as "Patient of the Month" by Chiro One Lansing IL. I love my Chiropractors, Dr. Jeri Jo and Dr. Matt. I also love my girls Mandy, Angie and Stephanie! The entire Chiro One Community is AWESOME! I have enjoyed being around wonderful people who are serious about taking care of themselves. I have been in treatment for 3 weeks and I feel like a different person. The first day of treatment I was in excruciating pain and medication was no longer working. I felt better with every adjustment and today I can say I barely feel the pain I came in with 3 weeks ago. And to top it off the staff is amazing! This place has been helping a lot with my parents & I. They are super nice by always greeting you, and give your a warm family feeling. The first time you go in, is a new experience. I have been to several Chiropractors over the years and the Docs. at this place by far have helped me the most. I was living with headaches, neck pain, lower back pain. numbness in my hand and arms at while trying to sleep even while see another chiropractor once a month! With some skepticism, I sign on with their program to give them a try because Dr. Vandenhoven said she could help me and showed me how they were going to do it. After two weeks of visits, I noticed while driving home, I could turn my head further and with less pain. Then,everday I noticed something new the didn't hurt any more. Headaches became less and less frequent, My shoulders and neck muscles relaxed so much it and see it and much less pain. I could bend over without pain and grunting, The numbness in my arms went away! I feel so much better overall as I keep on the maintenance plan. They made the visits affordable. I was impressed with that too! I didn't like the open office at first but see how that works now. I recommend them even at any location because I think they all use the same techniques. The key to my problem was the neck traction they do that puts the curve back into my neck. I am so glad I gave them a try. read more
