The neck pain I've always written off as stress since my teenage years? Apparently that's not normal. I learned a lot in my consult, information needing my immediate attention and action. We put together a treatment plan, milestones and goals included, with an understanding that if things haven't improved in 3 months, we'd need a neck MRI. They connected with my insurance to find out what would be covered, and what I can expect to pay. No surprise billing. I'm starting to feel better, pain is reducing, mobility improving, excited to see where my X rays are in a few weeks. So far so good. Michelle at the front desk learns your name and greets you every visit. This office genuinely CARES. They're in the healing business, not just chiropractic adjustments and PT, and I'm so thankful. Some people might think it's strange to find a doctor on Yelp, but I trust my Yelpers!! Before I went to see Dr. Klapach, I had been seeing doctors at FairView University for the better part of last year. I wish I had gone to see Dr. Klapach right away. I doubt she would have made me wait 8 months and jump through numerous hoops before telling me that surgery was inevitable. I can't ever get those eight months back, but thanks to Dr. Klapach, I am slowly getting back my range of motion, and I believe my pain is already less than it was before surgery, most of the time. I just had the surgery in December (which went great, by the way! They do it in an orthopedic facility, not a hospital, so my Covid fears were lessened), so it has only been a short time, and recovery for rotator cuff surgery is notoriously slow. But Dr. Klapach and her assistant Bradley are with you every step of the way, going above and beyond, to the point where the surgeon will actually pick up a phone and call you. Yes, I just about fell on the floor the first time that happened. Dr. Klapach really cares, and so do her staff. I am also really happy with the physical therapists on site. They do a great job, and are available by phone or email if you have questions about the exercises. Side note: They have recently re-branded to Allina Orthopaedics, but they are still the same great clinic with the same caring staff.

Fact: "Expert" doesn't begin to describe Dr. Aimee Klapach, MD. She does 270 knee surgeries a year, a fact I kept repeating to myself when I was having anxiety spin-outs in the weeks before my ACL reconstruction surgery. That depth of experience matters when you're literally trusting someone with your limbs. Fact: She's a super conservative surgeon, bless her heart. She never tells me what I want to hear. She tells me what I need to hear. I don't want a risk-taking, skydiving bro giving me health advice. I want someone who's gonna tell me that "If it were my sister, I wouldn't do it" when I ask if I can fly to a wedding a few weeks after surgery because there's a small chance I could get DVT and die. She obviously didn't love disappointing me. But she takes her job seriously enough to be a firm advocate for my healing and my body, and at the end of the day that's what I need. Fact: Her work is excellent. I'm 9 weeks out from surgery and my knee is healing beautifully. I followed her directions and the result is that nothing has gone wrong: no infections, no mistakes, no risks, no mishaps. Just steady improvements day after day, which is all I can really ask for. Fact: She has an incredible team working with her. They called me the evening after my surgery to check in- which at the time felt like an incredible kindness- and when I have questions they always call me back within a few hours. Her scheduler was wonderful, and made sure we had everything we needed to prepare for surgery. I've always found it easy to book appointments, and Dr. Klapach goes to a variety of locations, making it easy to find a time and place that works with my schedule. Not only is Advanced Medical operated by an amazing father-daughter duo, Dr. Arlen Lieberman and Dr. Krystle Lieberman, but I felt like a member of the Advanced Medical family every time I go. I've been to Advanced Medical before as a guest while my girlfriend was being treated and they have always been kind, friendly, and personable. She raves about how wonderful they are and how much better she feels after an adjustment or acupuncture. Recently I had to go as a patient, and although the circumstances were not favorable for my physical well-being, as soon as I walked in I knew I was in great hands. Both Alren and Krystle greeted me as soon as they saw me. I feel more than a patient, or a chart, when I am there. Through my initial exam, I met with several people and every single one was professional, friendly, and listened to my concerns. Although it was unfortunate having to go to Advanced Medical as a patient, I WAS fortunate enough to have such an amazing team to take care of me. We have had trouble getting our records from her since the birth was over. We know life goes on. She sent an email saying she attached them, but they weren't attached. After repeated attempts to get them, our next midwife (her mentor) requested them. The requests were ignored. This does not instill confidence in the medical industry, since our awesome family doctor would like to see them and hasn't. Both midwifes we've used required payment in full up front. Well, due to the lack of follow through from both of them after the birth is over, I would strongly recommend, as with all services (I own my own business and live this), put 50% down and 50% upon completion. At least leave something on the table to make sure everything is finished out and both parties are satisfied. It puts you in the game while it holds them accountable. If having a well educated person doing the birthing process was the only concern, it'd be a no-brainer to go with Jenny again!

When I talked to someone on the phone they said they would speak to the doctor there and get back to me soon. Three hours later and I still hadn't received a call. When I called back they said they had told me in the first call that I can come in pick up some cream they had set aside for me, and that's why they didn't call back. (How am I supposed to drive when I can't even see.) I told them they told me about the cream before I had sent new pictures about my reaction and how it's gotten worse. They then put me on hold and later told me this reaction is "completely normal." I had gotten micro needling done here before and this was not my reaction. This is different. I don't blame the aesthetician for my reaction. I think it may have been the aftercare treatment they gave me. I don't remember getting it the first time I had it done. The way they are handling things is what makes me frustrated. This definitely does not seem normal. This is an allergic reaction. And if this is normal and this is the kind of care they give to their patients, I would look to go somewhere else for micro needling. Also, I never received my full refund and they tries taking down my review on google to their stars go up. I had a very unfortunate incident as a child at a chiropractor. On my first appointment, he walked me through every step of the way and assured me that I was safe and ok. I had called to schedule my appointment and scheduled it for 8:45 am, they told me to arrive 15 mins early for paperwork (standard, no prob). I received a notification late Friday evening saying my appointment was scheduled for 9 am. I was already confused on the different time, so I showed up at 8:35, i filled out the paperwork, then waited, and waited and waited. At 9:18 I was taken back by a chiropractic assistant to go into this office that I was instructed to watch a 7 minute video. It was a waste of time! Then when the video was done, I waited and waited and waited. I finally went back and the doctor and I talked about pains and he said he wanted me to do xrays, no prob as I know this is normal for chiropractors. But there was SO MUCH time I was just sitting by myself waiting. I thought a new patient appointment would be efficient and make me feel like I am cared about but all the excess time spent waiting I was just glad the appointment was free. I am definitely not going to continue care with them based on the experience I had.
