Dr. Patel is the best! My fiancé and I started going to Dr. Patel shortly after he opened his DTLA office. One day while walking my pups I was handed a flyer for Dr. Patel's practice, and since it's so close to where I live (the building next to mine) I decided to check him out. Boy am I glad I did! He is charming, personable and extremely knowledgeable! I especially appreciated that he took the time to go over all of my X-rays and explain in detail everything he saw. He also uses high tech equipment which I so appreciate (my last dentist did my cleanings with just his old fashioned metal pick and it was always painful and the WORST). Dr. Patel's cleanings are fast and painless! He truly cares about his patients and does what is best for them; not what will make him the most money. Also, his staff is awesome! I was told I'd get a free whitening by a sales rep outside the dental office. When I actually went in they said no free whitening. Second time my crown fell off and I came by because it was convenient. The dentist said he wouldn't glue it back on, even if I signed a liability waiver. Assistant implied they do that and to ask him. He said NO. He wanted me to pay $1750 for new crown and build up for a cavity that "might" be there, and come back twice to do so. I have been going to Dr. Patel's Beverly Hills office for the past two years. I eventually moved to the East Valley but was surprised that he had a new office in Downtown LA. That prompted me to make my appointments closer to where I now live. As always, Dr. Patel gives a very detailed analysis of my case and what should be the best treatment going forward. I got veneers last year and now just come in regularly for cleanings/check-ups. He never forgot the fact that I had a root canal before and will periodically check to see whether it might flare up in the future. I am happy to say that he's genuinely cares about his patients and gives the best advice going forward with their treatments. Highly recommended! read more

I am so disappointed with my choice of this dentist. When you pick a dentist you would like the job to be done with no pain after, right? I paid $6000 to get two teeth fixed and he did not get fixed I am in excruciating pain and I don't think this is fair to have pain after paying such a high price. I kept calling for appointments and help and they did not want to help me but all they wanted to do was charge me again if you did the job wrong the first time I think you should fix it without charging your customers again. You are supposed to help your customers with all your heart not just try to eat their money and leave them with pains. We all know tooth pain is the worse.... read more

Dr. Patel and his staff are amazing at what they do. Being a downtown resident I wanted to find a dentist that was local yet educated with the most current technology of dentistry and knowledgeable. Well I found all that in one and most importantly his pure honestly of what I need versus feeling overwhelmed about cost and unexpected needs that I don't need. I came from out of town to see Dr. Patel, only because his work was the best I have seen through social media. I was greeted with a warm welcome each and every visit. Dr. Patel and his staff make you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Also, I thought that getting veneers would be very painful. However, aside from the teeth whitening and having to keep my mouth open for quite awhile, everything else was pretty much pain free!
