I used to play this course many years ago when it was 27 holes. It's now an 18-hole course, but that didn't change the way it was played. When I was able to play on this course (I am old now and for physical reasons I cannot play golf anymore) it was always a very challenging course. Some fairways are tight, some are not. There are some shots that you have to take across the water to a green. Some of the greens are undulated and that will test even the skills of a great golfer. I have had the pleasure to ride along on a cart to this day, and it's still the great course that I always enjoyed playing. A golf course is supposed to be a challenge to play, and Chippendale's golf course fits the shoe. The people who work there are very nice, always have been. If you have any questions, if they can't tell you, they will get someone who works there that that will. A very honest, and well-respected golf course. They even use this course for the high school boys/girl's sectional and have done so for years. I encourage anyone looking for a challenging yet peaceful course to play on, this is the place for you. Great golf shop, great food and drinks inside. And if Jim is there, he will answer any questions you might have. He's a heck of a golfer, fitter and he will accommodate you in any way possible. He also gives golf lessons. Is Jim good? You can count on it! read more
