Just went to the chipotle and got pretty kind service for the first time ever. Chipotle is my favorite restaurant, but I rarely ever go because this location is the only option near me. But they actually did quite well on the portions and service today. Happy. However, before I could escape this building with a good experience, I overheard that they are out of forks again. The amount of times this location has been out of Forks. It's just hilarious to me. Like pick one way to be the most unprofessional restaurant and I would say a good strategy would just randomly be out of forks on a consistent basis. The amount of times I have ate a bowl at the chipotle with a spoon is laughable. This is not the first time. The special thing about forks is that they don't have expiration dates. This meaning that they can hold thousands of forks at one time and they should never run out of forks. It's probably one of the most predictable items that they hold on their inventory. Beyond that I don't know the rules on this, but surely they could just go get forks from Walmart for the day instead of only offering spoons. Just an unprofessional location this one is and it's very disappointing. Lived here my whole life, and this chipotle has failed me and my family miserably over the last 10 years. Because chipotle has such a good brand I will definitely give them more and more shots, though they don't deserve and never earn it. No disrespect whatsoever just saying it how it is. read more

If you're hosting a last minute get-together, consider the Build Your Own Chipotle (BYOC) ~ it's a game changer! I used the app to order and pick-up was a within 15 minutes. I chose the chicken package, and added a 2 extra salsas and queso. It was affordable (less than $70) and more than enough food for (the intended) 4-6 people! The packaging was easy to transport and some re-usable, which I loved! It was nice to build your own and be able to add other ingredients from home. Definitely also recommend for individual or large orders. The app makes it super easy to coordinate group orders. One link is shared and each person can choose and simply add their order on to one bill. Aside from that, this location has always been my go-to in town. Ordering and dining here has never been unpleasant (for me). Perfect for a quick in-and-out, or a longer stay. Pick-up orders are always a breeze! The only issue I had was when I ordered delivery (never again) but that's likely on the third-party end. read more

My 8 year old has been obsessed with coming to try chipotle since she's seen a bunch of reels for it. It was super busy when we came in and was a little over whelming because we didn't know what we wanted or all the options. We made it through very quickly though and the staff was friendly. It really is unfortunate how you get so much less when you order ahead to take out. I also ordered this to be with corn and there was none... They clearly are hurrying, just unfortunate it happens to the customer. In the picture below you can see tough and inedible chicken and a large chunk of romaine lettuce that wasn't chopped. I also placed another order, and realized the next day while eating it that it had no fajita veggies. Which I also requested to be on it. This is not my prefered location to come to when I get Chipotle but I was in the area doing errands so it was my closest option. The parking lot is not the easiest to get to and my experiences here have been inconsistent. This time there wasn't much of a line which was nice. The employees are very efficient however they are so quick I don't think they are paying attention to portions and the workstation looks messy. Food was okay, the portion size was the worst I've seen from a chipotle anywhere. Felt like pulling teeth to try and get any add-ons. Chipotle is expensive enough as it is but when you pay extra for queso and guacamole you'd expect to get more than a toddler sized spoonful. Service was almost worse than the food tho. Asked to try the barbaquoa to see the spice level. Girl behind the counter grabs the juiciest piece in the container and hands me a cup. No fork. No spoon. No napkin. Just the meat. What am I supposed to do with that attempt to drink it!? When I asked her what should I do should I use my hand? She then proceeded to just giggle and said uh ya??? Like I'm crazy for not wanting to grab it with bare hands! The tables were filthy barely could find a spot for 4 to sit down and eat because obviously having 6 people behind the counter makes it impossible to go wipe off a table or 2 for a minute! There were 2 large bones found in my chicken. I stopped eating as soon as this happened and we brought it to the attention of an employee, who told my husband that because I had eaten some of it that it was too bad. We asked for a manager, and the original employee said "f*** this" and walked off. The manager was nice enough, but no apologies or anything for the bones I just found in their chicken. Additionally, they were out of guac with no indication of it until you got to that point of the order-both my husband and I would have ordered something else had we known. We go to Chipotle at least once a week and my office orders hundreds of dollars on a regular basis, this is by far the worst Chipotle we've ever been to, and it'll be awhile before we go back to any of them. read more

I'm from Denver, so I have high standards for Chipotle. Regardless, this place is unbelievably bad. I went last night because the kids always want to go. This will be the last time. Everything from the tables, the bathroom, and the prep table are always filthy. My foil had sour cream all over it becuase it was smeared all over the prep table. The staff are rushed, rude, and despite no one being in line, act as if the place is going to burn down any second. The worker put chicken in my bowl, thought it was too much, and took half of it out and dumped it back in the chicken bowl! Yes, that happened. And only $70 for this experience. If you live in Madison, the one on University is only slightly better. If you must go, Mineral Point is passable. read more

Stopped at this Chipotle location for dinner on the way home from Wisconsin Dells. The time was 4:30PM on Sunday, July 16th. The 4 staff members working all seemed disgruntled or in a noticeably bad mood. The floor of the restaurant and the tables were not clean. There was food on the floor and tables and everything felt sticky. The ladies restroom was absolutely disgusting. The floor and toilet were not clean and there was no toilet paper. We purchased a burrito bowl, a fountain drink, a large bag of chips, and a large guacamole for about $25. The food was terrible and we were surprised because we usually enjoy stopping at Chipotle. The chips were stale and the meat had a lot of gristle. At that price, I would expect better service and a cleaner store with quality food and a usable restroom. I do not recommend eating here, nor will I stop at this location again in the future. read more

I typically give restaurants the benefit of more than 3 stars unless I have experienced something like this visit. I would give 1 star but I don't want to appear as one of those angry reviewers. I ordered the veggie salad. They did not have fajita toppings, so they slid my bowl all the way to salsas without asking if I wanted beans or rice. I looked at my lettuce with pico on it and thought I wouldn't be able to justify paying $7.15 for that alone. So I figured with guacamole it would at least feel like I was eating. They were out of that too. So I asked if they would put beans on and they got irritated at me for going backwards on the line even though they sped my order up so fast I didn't have anything to eat. I also added the cauliflower topping which was good but had to pay $2 for that. In my opinion they should have given that to me or shared the cost since they were out of the veggie options. The girl at the register said we are out for the day at 12:30 pm on guacamole, fajitas and forks. Did you say forks? She handed me a spoon and I was so upset I had to try to get spinach and lettuce into my mouth with that. Then I asked her to scan for my points and she said our scanner doesn't work. We are a very busy store. In my head I was thinking " I live in Chicago" now that's busy. And I have never in my life had this happen at any other chipotle countrywide ever. Management needs to step up and correct ordering and staff. These are simple things that can be fixed and must. Very sad to give you a bad review especially in these hard times. This is a decent American chain serving pretty good food. Stopped here for lunch and it was fairly busy. I got the chicken bowl and it hit the spot. My husband got the steak bowl liking every bit of it. This place is good for a casual, easy and reasonable tasting meal choices! read more

Not a good experience from start to finish. Service was slow and rude. The staff seemed uninterested in helping customers. The state of the restaurant was appalling. There was trash everywhere, tables were left uncleared, the floors were sticky, and even the drink station was a mess. It was clear that cleanliness is not a priority at this location. As for the food, it was a major disappointment. The ingredients didn't taste fresh, and the portions were smaller than what I've come to expect from Chipotle. I love Chipotle and I've tried this location serval different times. Each time, it has been a very disappointing experience. They either run low on ingredients and skimp out on it rather than making new or even just refilling things (sour cream, lettuce, cheese, etc.) or the food is super cold. The last time I visited , the rice was cold and hard and they were out of almost everything. This time, they were out of corn salsa and sour cream, even though the side where they make to go orders had those items as well as containers full of them under the container. Instead of going over to get ingredients or refilling them, they put a tiny scoop of the ingredients left in the container. The bowls get smaller and smaller each time I go and the staff is super unfriendly. Today, when I asked for the side of sour cream I ordered, they stood around until the employee making other bowls was done. Other employees were standing at the cash register waiting and could have easily gave it to me. The cashier eventually did it themself after about 5 minutes. They were also pretty rude about it and asked me to share my husbands sour cream. They didn't want to give us a bag to carry out our to go order either. They've also lost our online orders in the past and said they couldn't remake it when we came to pick it up. We've given Chipotle so many chances but it's simply not what it used to be. Every single time I've been to this restaurant in the past year and a half it's a total disappointment! They have terrible service, the people behind the counter are down right rude. They are ALWAYS out of something! Big staple items like guacamole, chips, lettuce, rice, chicken, silverware. One of the last times I was there they were out of guacamole and I asked if they had any in the back and the kid went back and asked someone and they said yes but they could only use it for the delivery orders.. WHAT!? Seriously... so I said I am standing here as a paid customer and you are telling me you are out but yet you have some 2 feet away in another cold table but you aren't allowed to use it for my order? WOW! This was day they were out of almost everything on the menu. If I had not been picking up for 2 other people I would have just walked out! Just like others have said here, the tables are always dirty, they always seem short staffed, or not enough people on the line actually serving customers while they are milling around doing other tasks. They have no sense of urgency and there never seems to be an adult manager on duty. Just young kids. Tonight my roommate ordered for delivery. They did not send what was ordered, It was extremely spicy chicken and the chips for the guacamole were so salty we couldn't even eat them. Such a disappointment! There were a few times when they did get at least part of the order correct and it was tasty. unfortunately that has not been the case in over a year. Very disappointing experience. Ordered a salad for delivery:. It was the wrong salad that arrived and it seemed very sparse in the container. It was meh. The one I received had steak that was in small dry chunks. I ordered chips and salsa. Got Salsa but chips. Beware delivery - there is absolutely no route to resolving an issue by phone. We are not very experienced with the way things are done at Chipotle, and the staff acted kind of pushy and rude towards us. The only way carry your oder to your table is to have it bagged, no trays. The food here is good. That's why they get 3 stars. Everything else is mediocre at best. I've been to this location 10-15 times in the past 2 years. It's ran and operated by young people. They typically are more concerned with random odd jobs instead of helping customers. Multiple times one person is making food and running the register while 4 other employees are cleaning the grill, in the back of the store, or doing other things. So the wait can be long. This location is always busy when I am there no matter the time of day. The dining room tends to be messy, tables not clean floors dirty. The overall store seems clean. They just don't wipe tables and clean the dining room in between guests. The last time I was here 3 weeks ago they had no silverware. It's 5:00pm on a Friday night and no silverware. They were selling salads (burrito bowls) with no forks. How are you going to eat a salad with no fork. They did not tell customers that they were out of silverware until after the food was made and purchased. They also had no napkins. We had napkins in our glovebox. So we walked out to our car to grab napkins to eat our food. But I felt so sorry for customers coming in after us who would ask for utensils and were told they didn't have any. I watched one customer leave and go to a nearby restaurant to get his daughter silverware to eat her salad. Seriously??? This is a restaurant. Go to Target, Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree or the many other businesses nearby and purchase silverware and napkins for your customers. They had 5 people working this night. Send one employee to a store nearby to purchase items you need to conduct business. It's a shame. This location is not managed properly. Tonight we were shopping in East Towne and decided to go across the street to Qdoba instead of this Chipotle location. I did not want to take a chance in them not have proper utensils for my dinner. read more

This is my go-to Chipotle since I work just a few minutes away. I visit this Chipotle at least once a week for lunch. I've never had a bad meal or a bad experience here. In fact, the staff people have been accommodating during times when I may have had "bad" experiences. On one occasion, I had to wait about two minutes for fajita veggies to finish grilling. The cashier told me my burrito bowl was on the house because I was forced to wait. Well, thank you! On another occasion when the iced tea was out but a new batch was brewing, one of the staff people offered me a bottled iced tea at no charge. The staff people at this Chipotle are always very accommodating. As expected with any Chipotle, service is fast and the food is flavorful. I recommend this Chipotle, and I will go back. (Next week, as usual.) read more
