You have bad reviews from 6 years ago I doubt if they change! So many people in the community all over Hagerstown talk about this location in a negative light! I understand the customers can be rude and that's insane to me, but mostly all of the employees no matter what type of day you go are very rude. They throw your food in the bowl like they're doing you a favor and you have to pay extra for meat because they give you half of a spoonful but the price continues to rise. I try to be understanding but my patience is just worn thin with this place. I order online a lot here and every time the amount of meat is so small. The pinto beans are always nasty and taste like they've been sitting out for too long and the rice just tastes... off? I had "free guacamole" on my app for my birthday. I go to this location and they would only give me a side of guacamole, the app doesn't say "side" it says free guacamole!! The asshole manager refused and would only give it to me on the side, which we all know is a HELL of a lot less than the portion you'd get on a bowl. I hate this greedy ass corporation!! First all employees are rude, impatient and seem to intentionally give you less and rush you no matter how nice and caring you try to be with them even when it's not busy. Chipotle claims they are increasing portion sizes. If so, do not expect it at this location when it comes to meat. They will charge you double meat for more than a tiny half scoop. There are many times the meat is old or almost out and no one is cooking any more and other times they don't even have chips made and have to make more and I'm not talking before closing. Food is good and fresh. I place a mobile order and it was ready to pick up at the selected time. Everything is hot and tasty. One complaint is the recycled bowls for the burrito bowl. They get very soft and can collapse. Also I on this particular visit there was a thick slice of the lettuce core in my bowl. I do also wish they would turn the music down some as it's so loud that it is hard to hear the person sitting next to you. read more

I understand that this pandemic is a stressful time, however this spot had horrible customer service. Ordering corn tortilla tacos (due to a food allergy) ended up in them to fulfill an order incorrectly (gave one corn tortilla and two flour tortillas which cross-contaminated the food). When pointing out the mistake, I was met with a hostile employee who said they couldn't anything about it. Another employee said they could make a bowl, but the rude employee said they can only do that if she takes away the tacos. When I asked for guacamole, she made a huge deal about getting it, and I mentioned that they had bad customer service. I love Chipotle, but just not this location. read more

Larger sized footprint at this Chipotle, which is good because there was a decent queue of customers coming in for their fix. The line moved at a reasonable pace, considering that they had to restock the chicken three times. My burrito bowl was great. Nicely loaded with chicken (perhaps that's why they kept running out?), soft rice and rich beans. I understand why Chipotle has such a crowd. It's worth it. read more

I called the dasher and told her to let her know that the food was poorly served and looks like someone has eaten half of it. she was friendly and kind enough to say she never opened the bag and even call DoorDash for me but unfortunately they never give me my full credit instead, I was given $7 out of $18.35. When I arrived an employee who was just eating at a table came to ask me if I placed an order then asked me my name she looked at the bags that was in the online ordering area and proceeds to do other shit so another employee asks me my name gives me my bag, once to my car I noticed they gave me the wrong taco shells ( was for my daughter who didn't mind) so overall this place sucks, nasty inside, employee that was eating didn't wash her hands but want to help someone. read more

I have come to the decision that it's just not worth giving chances anymore. The past several times getting my crave on I end up basically having a soft taco with lettuce and sour cream and cheese with maybe a teaspoon of meat. I refuse to pay what I do for what I'm served. Hmmmm. Where do I begin. We ordered pick up through door dash. Door dash is not supposed to open the bags that are sealed. Quality control should be handled at Chipotle. We were missing a pineapple orange drink, apple juice for the kids meal, the fruit for the kids meal, and the chips that were supposed to be part of the chips and queso combo. They do online ordering and maybe that works, but it creates huge issues if you go into the shop. We waited 15 minutes to move 2 spaces closer to the service line. The problem appears to be that they fill online orders while ignoring the people waiting in line. Several times they brought over more online orders and handed them to the person right in front of me and he made those orders before looking up for the next person in line. Probably the worst service in any Chipotle in the country. When we got food it was fine, standard Chipotle except that the little tray of corn was empty and the guy couldn't be bothered to get more even though we asked. He just scraped out what was in there and passed it on. We got around that by ordering some corn on the side. This location is extremely inconsistent. I always put in a mobile order and if the restaurant is busy my order is NEVER ready by the promised time. I've complained about this multiple times... the whole point of mobile order is to avoid having to sit down and wait but they just don't seem to grasp this concept. The food is always so sloppy and hardly ever any meat. Unfortunately this is the only one in the Hagerstown area so I am forced to continue to go here but it's the worst location. I came through town to take some food back to my hometown. I asked how it could be to pack it separately for travel, woman (in her 40-50's) said, 'just like we serve it' So I got 4 things, ALL was packed together for the long ride home! Arrived at 7:02 to pick up our 7pm online take out order. The restaurant was probably at full capacity, even though no tables were occupied. About 25 people were waiting for pick up orders, trying to distance as much as possible. Somewhere, through a small window and around the corner, someone was yelling out names that no one could understand. No one knew whether to wait or go up to the window and no employee or manager was in sight. Waited 25 minutes with less than ideal distancing, then got close enough to hear my name finally called. All it would have taken is a reasonably competent and present manager to organize the crowd. The employees were way behind, but doing their best to try to keep up. Fresh, REAL no chemicals in my food! This is why I go to Chipotle if I am looking for healthy food fairly quick. The location is very conveniently located right off Interstate 81 near several other traditional strip mall stores. The food isn't very consistent because it is FRESH. I think most people are so used to the prepackaged preprocessed food served in most chain restaurants that they don't realize if humans prep and portion then its going to be different every time!! Although a little different each time I have never been disappointed. Also, I LOVE HOT wings but am not a huge spicy food fan. Their "mild" can be really spicy and other times just the wonderful mild heat that I enjoy. Chalk it up to humans prepping and go with it. I always enjoy a bowl and usually can't finish the portion. They do go a little light on the meat but then your not there for a bowl full of animal? Are you? I have never been on the other end of a stingy hand, spoonfuls of delicious fresh salsa, guacamole, lettuce, beans and rice. It is a bit much $1.50 for guacamole but YUMMO I feel its worth it. Little stingy on the tiny cup of salsa with your chips. There is a tiny patio outside with 2 or 3 tables overlooking the parking lot area, which is a great spot for eating in the great outdoors. It doesn't have a view but you can at least enjoy being outside. The indoor dining feels small. There are 2 main dining areas split by the condiments bar, and some bar stool seating along the windows by the side wall of the restaurant. Cleanliness is very well maintained at Chipotle, never a messy floor or dirty table have I seen. Go there...you'll like it! read more

I ordered 2 bowls (double steak w/works & veggie w/extra rice), both were barely half full, even the EXTRA RICE veggie bowl! The lid was squeaky clean! I've ordered through the app from Laurel, Rockville, Frederick & my fave Hagerstown Garland Groh location and never have I received such an empty bowl.
