ombré powder brows, the results don't fade into a dull grey with time like with microblading. The amount and care and attention to detail put into his work is jaw dropping. Chinchilla Brows - Before and after being blessed by a makeup artist from the gods - Permanent Makeup Near Me - Toluca Lake, California

I was born with full, beautiful eyebrows (even had a slight unibrow going for me). Until my 14th birthday that is. I did the ultimate mistakes many women make, and trusted my friends in plucking my eyebrows to be thin, as it was "the thing to do".. biggest mistake of my life. Ever since then, my eyebrows never grew back and have had to draw them in myself. That is, until I was blessed by the Chinchilla hands. Daniel is very professional, compassionate and caring. He informed me about the whole process, what I would be feeling, and what to expect afterwards. While I have a low tolerance for pain, Daniel made it easy to withstand. He would stop and ask if I was ok, if I needed a break, and ensured I was comfortable. Thanks to Daniel, I no longer have to spend every morning drawing in my eyebrows! I get out of the shower every day and just admire that I have the natural look he gave me. It's so clean, great shape, perfect width and most importantly, LOOKS NATURAL! I cannot thank Daniel enough for helping me the confidence back that I have lost so many years ago. I've enclosed a before and after picture to show how little eyebrows he had to work with (and sadly, those are drawn in), and the masterpiece he left me with. Daniel, you are and always will be my Michaelangelo!!! read more

So happy I came in today to get my first ever Powder Ombré Brows! I was a little nervous beforehand not knowing the significant difference between this method and traditional Microblading, but Mr. Chinchilla patiently explained it very clearly: in short it's the best option for someone like me that has sensitive skin and isn't too keen on doing anything too permanent but likes the idea of longwear with a natural look. I work in sometimes hostile environments where you're better off leaving make up behind...unless it's longwear or in this case semi-permanent. Asides from loving the concept, as far as the location itself and the artist: parking can be limited up front but there's tons of free parking right in the back. The studio was bright and clean and obviously brand new and Mr. Chinchilla clearly had the warmest vibe. After carefully explaining the procedure and what sensations to expect, he just as studiously mapped out my brows and when we agreed on the perfect shape, he set about preparing his tools that I noticed where nice and sterile. I expected a feeling akin to getting inked, but it was more like minor continuous scratching and once the local numbing cream was applied I surprised myself by falling asleep at one point! Such was the calming atmosphere. I already love the results and look forward to our touch up/check up appointment in 3weeks and seeing how everything will soften. Thank you! read more

UPDATE: Microblade Review: I came back to Daniel after my lash lift and wow am I amazed at my eyebrows. Daniel did such an amazing job on my microbladed brows. He calls them his "Chinchilla Brows" and I couldn't be any happier. He asked me what I didn't like about my brows and I admitted that I fill them in to make them look fuller and thick. I told him that I don't like my eyebrows to look overdone, but j wanted them cleaned up and to look more natural. Also, I wanted to ditch the eye brow pencil. I'm writing this, 2 weeks after my initial session and my brows are healing very well. I love the results and can't get over how amazing the shape is. For those of you wondering, it doesn't hurt! Daniel is gentle and really makes sure you're comfortable throughout the session. He applies multiple applications of the numbing gel while you lay there. At some points, I was even falling asleep. If you can, make sure you see Daniel to get your eyebrows microbladed. I love my new Chinchilla Brows. Thanks, Daniel! Lash Lift Review: Daniel did such an amazing job with my lash lift. It was my first time getting this done and he made sure that I knew all the steps he was going to do to make my lashes achieve the full effect. The whole process took about an hour and I found it to be oddly relaxing. Daniel made sure that I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure. By the end of it all, I was shocked at how long and perfectly curled my lashes were. I was even more impressed when I looked in the mirror and Daniel told me he tinted my lashes to give them a more defined look. The studio is in such a great location right outside of the city and easy to get to. It is private and quiet, which made me feel even more comfortable. I am so excited to come back next mjto get my eyebrows microbladed by Daniel. read more

Daniel is an artist - I haven't even gone in for my touch-up yet, and I'm getting compliments on my brows left and right! I'd been wanting to get my brows done for awhile, since I wanted to look more pulled together, but sometimes just didn't have the time (or energy!) to do them up right. I was originally thinking of getting bladed, but Daniel does a new technique called ombre, which is more subtle. I'm glad I waited. The experience: chill and friendly. I've never had tattoos, but I've had skin needling before - and this was far less painful. I'd actually say the pain level was only slightly annoying, if that. I even fell asleep in the middle of Daniel's work, and he said that happens all the time - haha! Looking forward to my touch-up, I'm supposed to go this week. I'm so happy with my brows already - if you're thinking of it, go for it! read more

I'm so happy with my eyebrows and really glad I found someone that I could trust to work on my face. Daniel is the BEST! Chinchilla Brows Studio was easy to find, and I was able to park right out front. The studio was clean and relaxing. It was obvious Daniel took care to ensure I was good with the direction we were going in and the tools he was using were sterile; that's how I knew I'd found the right place. We discussed what method would best to give me the shape and symmetry I wanted and chose to go with the Powder Ombre Brows technique, which I hadn't tried before. There was very little pain, it was more of a slight scratching at first, but it turned to light brushing after he put some numbing cream on. Daniel checked in with me throughout the entire process whuch made me feel very comfortable, even relaxed. Once the process was done and I looked in the mirror, I let out the biggest smile- my brows were PERFECT. Overall, it was a positive experience and would definitely come back for any future touch ups. read more

I'm going to start this off by saying I didn't know how REAL my brow struggle was until I met Daniel! I came across his instagram and absolutely adored his work. As a guy and I've been pretty insecure about my brows all my life. It was important for me to find someone who understood my wants and needs for my brows. My natural brows are very thin and sparse and I wanted a bolder, thicker, fuller brow. Fast forward to my actual appointment with Daniel. I traveled all the way from the Bay Area and as soon as I arrived to his studio in Los Angeles, he greeted me, offered me some water and really made me feel comfortable as I was SHOOK because I was going to microblade my brows for the first time! His microblading room was so beautiful and clean and VERY white I might add, replicating a doctor's office which made me feel completely confident in Daniel immediately. He was very patient with me as I was extremely specific on how I wanted my brows to look. I was explaining to him that I didn't want my brows to look too "done" as in too feminine and too soft or drawn on. Right away he assured me I would be really pleased with my results and he was telling the truth. He guided me through the entire process and answered every single question I had. Overall my experience with Daniel has been so amazing!! I could never imagine doing such an invasive service with anyone else. Daniel you are truly talented and your professionalism is beyond excellent! Thank you for your patience and educating me about the service along the way to perfection. I highly highly recommend Daniel for anyone who is looking to get their brows microbladed and are feeling uneasy as they are the STAPLE of your face. Where do I even start? First off, every 5 star review and positive word you read about Daniel and Chinchilla Brows is absolutely true! I was so nervous to start off with but he calmed me down and was so patient with me, explaining each step, how it will feel, and what to expect. He even told me that the only thing you should feel is the outline when he starts using the machine and in all seriousness, it feels like light plucking!! It didn't hurt at all! Then numbing cream, and the rest of the process was completely pain free! Completely!! His hands are magic! I used to be so embarrassed about my brows and felt like I couldn't go anywhere without makeup. Now, that I have these gorgeous brows, it's boosted my confidence and I'm fine without makeup! He did a powder Ombré brow so they look beautifully natural, not like the usual microblade where you can see all the lines. Seriously, I can't wait to go back and get a touch up because I know that it only gets better and better! He's gentle, has a wonderful warm personality and extremely delightful!
