So happy I came in today to get my first ever Powder Ombré Brows! I was a little nervous beforehand not knowing the significant difference between this method and traditional Microblading, but Mr. Chinchilla patiently explained it very clearly: in short it's the best option for someone like me that has sensitive skin and isn't too keen on doing anything too permanent but likes the idea of longwear with a natural look. I work in sometimes hostile environments where you're better off leaving make up behind...unless it's longwear or in this case semi-permanent. Asides from loving the concept, as far as the location itself and the artist: parking can be limited up front but there's tons of free parking right in the back. The studio was bright and clean and obviously brand new and Mr. Chinchilla clearly had the warmest vibe. After carefully explaining the procedure and what sensations to expect, he just as studiously mapped out my brows and when we agreed on the perfect shape, he set about preparing his tools that I noticed where nice and sterile. I expected a feeling akin to getting inked, but it was more like minor continuous scratching and once the local numbing cream was applied I surprised myself by falling asleep at one point! UPDATE: Microblade Review: I came back to Daniel after my lash lift and wow am I amazed at my eyebrows. Daniel did such an amazing job on my microbladed brows. He calls them his "Chinchilla Brows" and I couldn't be any happier. He asked me what I didn't like about my brows and I admitted that I fill them in to make them look fuller and thick. I told him that I don't like my eyebrows to look overdone, but j wanted them cleaned up and to look more natural. Also, I wanted to ditch the eye brow pencil. Daniel is an artist - I haven't even gone in for my touch-up yet, and I'm getting compliments on my brows left and right! I'd been wanting to get my brows done for awhile, since I wanted to look more pulled together, but sometimes just didn't have the time (or energy!) to do them up right. I'm going to start this off by saying I didn't know how REAL my brow struggle was until I met Daniel! I came across his instagram and absolutely adored his work. As a guy and I've been pretty insecure about my brows all my life. It was important for me to find someone who understood my wants and needs for my brows. My natural brows are very thin and sparse and I wanted a bolder, thicker, fuller brow. Fast forward to my actual appointment with Daniel. Where do I even start? First off, every 5 star review and positive word you read about Daniel and Chinchilla Brows is absolutely true! I was so nervous to start off with but he calmed me down and was so patient with me, explaining each step, how it will feel, and what to expect.
