Heavily spiced, but not spicy. I mean, it's a bag of fries and fried chicken, there wasn't really room to mess up. One thing to note is they toss whole peanuts into the bag, in case anyone has an allergy. The biang biang noodles have a chewy texture, and the sauce is nice and savory. The veggies were standard, but were a good break from the fries, even if they were drenched in sauce.

You see vegans get a hard time in general. Restaurants especially have a tendency to treat vegans like they're just picky rather than embracing a different lifestyle. As such, you regularly have to sit there while they recite all the farm animals they know while repeatedly mentioning fish. This was the first regular restaurant I've been to outside of Dublin where I mentioned being vegan and they just got on with their lives indicating the options suitable for someone of my affliction. So they've won points for catering for vegans. The food is great, everything but the pattern was eaten off the plate! I felt welcome from the moment I walked in. In general, I'm a very happy chap indeed with this place.

To our surprise, despite the name, this was a full-fledged restaurant and bar. So, we found another tea house to spend the early afternoon, and returned that evening for dinner. Upon return, inside we were greater to a very ornate Asian aesthetic inside. Not only did they have a decent selection of Asian teas, but also a rather expansive dinner menu. We were each given a small jasmine tea to start, which was cold brewed (rare to see!) and quite flavorful. I ordered Shredded Duck Noodles for the entree which were delightful. The noodles themselves were very well flavored and chewy. On top of this, there was a surprising amount of duck throughout the dish. Typically you see the protein being skimped on, but not the case here. The asian veggies mixed throughout were a welcome addition as well Overall, it was a great vibe, great selection, and great food. If you enjoy Asian cuisines, you wouldn't be going wrong here.

I had asked for the peppers that normally comes with the stir fry veggies to be replaced with asian vegetables, and I think I got a few scraps of bok choy and Napa cabbage in the mix. Most of the veggies ended up being scallions and onions. I also ordered one of the Pu-erh teas, as this is supposed to be a strong tea and can steep for a long time in very hot water without turning sour or bitter. While the tea was stronger than most of the teas I've had during my vacation in Ireland, it was still quite a lot weaker than expected. We asked for more leaves to be added to the pot but either they didn't actually add any, or didn't add enough to make a difference in the flavor. Overall a decent restaurant, would recommend to anyone looking for Asian cuisine.

However, we came here to grab a quick lunch to eat before our walking tour. The idea was to eat these crepes while on the tour to save time. (Sit down meals are a 2-3 hour affair in Ireland). Unfortunately, there were only 2 women working with only 2 crepe stations and even though there was nobody on line, it took them a very long time to make our crepes (waited about half hour). We ended up missing our tour. Hubby liked the the beef crepe with the included veggies and spicy sauce. I tried a chicken crepe but there were lots of gristle or something else hard in the chicken. The combo meals with bubble tea are a good deal at around 7.50 euros with bubble tea (or 6.50 without the tea). Bottom line, avoid the chicken and expect a long time to get your order.
