This hotline is always available to assist customers with inquiries, reservations, cancellations, and general support needs. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again.....

Everything went smoothly: getting through the PASSENGERS ONLY point was easy and their check in counters were easy to find. We were mindful and were compliant about the weight of our bags, so we knew that wasn't going to be an issue. What I liked is they taped up the zipper latches (at least those that weren't secured or locked) to avoid accidental snags or openings during transit. The staff were very friendly - even making a strong point and advised us that gate assignments happen frequently and to be mindful of it. No biggie. The flight was short and smooth. Snacks on the plane were available for purchase, but given it was less than an hour flight (plus we had hours before our flight, so we snacked during the wait) we didn't feel the need for it. And I hate to admit this, but I did my research and didn't expect much, but I'm glad they proved me wrong! Excellent first run! AirAsia - please keep it up!

Although often times delayed and disappointing, I think it's important to remark how much their routes have grown ever since they started operating. There are many routes for local and domestic flights. You just have to go and check them out online or you may go to any to any accredited booking offices to find your destination of choice. The staff are ok and do what they can with what they have. Make sure to constantly check on their website for updates on promos, price drops, and other special new destinations locally and abroad. Make sure to always read your booking details and guidelines so as to not have any hassle when you check in or travel (make sure to purchase your correct luggage allocation because they are getting stricter now about overweight luggages). Just remember, you most likely will pay for many things but, as well, know what you can omit and you'll make it just time.

We've only used them to travel to and from Manila and we found that they consistently provide great customer service, they are courteous and really know how to take care of their passengers. From our departure, the lines to the checkout counter was very long and I'm not sure if it's because they weren't open at that time or what but thankfully when the attendants began opening up their kiosks, the lines began moving decently. And although I know most of the employees are Filipino, it's quite interesting to see them adapt the Japanese culture and etiquette to their services. After checking in, we were brought to the lounge which I believe was part of my parents' traveling perks. The lounge was nice and clean, food was pleasant, and the restrooms well kept. The attendants at the lounge were also helpful I'm informing us of when the wheelchair attendant was on the way to pick me up due to my physical disability. All in all, we've enjoyed traveling with Japan Airlines and we look forward to flying with them again soon!

For short flights on these smaller planes, you just can't compare them to bigger flights on bigger jet planes. I found the employees to be just fine, especially at the airport level. There were employees sitting right next to the self check kiosk that processed my ticket for me. Don't think that would happen on US soil. Lol. There is an option to purchase snacks or drinks but not many use it for this short of a flight. These smaller planes you usually have to deboard straight on the tarmac going down some steep stairs. Baggage claim is much smaller thus much easier. The airports on the smaller islands are much more mimimal, definitely has that travel adventure spirit to it. The airport in Manila looks like any big city airport, and actually to get to the gate or plane from this airport, you will usually have to take a shuttle to get to another part of the airport. I found it to be pretty straight forward and organized. For bringing me to a much more remote area, even tho not the most comfy, I just gotta give them props on doing that in a professional and more importantly safe manner.
