The imaginatively-named China Restaurant, as you might expect, offers its customers a decent selection of Peking and Cantonese cuisine at fairly reasonable and competitive prices for the area.
From the outside, China Restaurant looks pretty dated and a bit bland but once you step inside the interior does improve somewhat, even if it's not the classiest of places.
The menu is full of variety and choice, offering meat and vegetarian options as well as a good selection of starters, main meals and desserts. They also have a buffet menu on offer which represents good value for money even if the dishes themselves don't impress too much.
All in all, China Restaurant is a decent place to go for a Chinese meal as the prices aren't too unreasonable and the staff there are friendly enough, but there are definitely better Chinese restaurants in the area. read more
