The duck dishes were cooked all the same way, with sauce on the side, peanut sauce, sweet and sour and pineapple/exotic fruits. The combination also included fried chicken that was covered in a sweet and sour sauce. The dishes also came with white rice, and fried rice. Overall, it was OK, nothing amazing or extraordinary. We felt they were very nice, our order was not prepared correctly and we had to wait to receive a new order, and so the restaurant gave us a bottle of Pflaumen chiew, which is a liquor. The people who work there speak mandarin as they work, German to their customers, and some of them understand English. It's not a hole in the wall place like you typically picture in Manhattan. I ordered the beef, chicken and veggie pan fried noodles because it's hard to mess that up. The portion was huge and could easily be split. My husband got some fried chicken with sweet and sour pineapple sauce. The fried chicken tasted good, but it was more of a Chicken Katsu rather than your traditional sweet and sour chicken pieces where each individual piece is deep fried in a thick batter. The sauce was more like a duck sauce with pineapple chunks in it. It didn't taste bad, but it just wasn't what we expected it to taste like... I still miss traditional shao long bao, oyster pancakes, and various dim sum dishes.... but one perk is that they have spring rolls here. Ohh and they have a green fanta drink here- it's exotic fruit flavor. It is definitely a mix between passion fruit and red bull. I kinda liked it. Ni Hao is probably better than any Panda Express back in the states, so I can see it being appealing for many people. So if i ever pass through again and I need to choose between the KFC, McDonald's, or Ni Hao. I would definitely be saying, "Ni Hao" to my peeps at Ni Hao!
