A gem of a Chinese restaurant…read more Been a dozen times now and the food is always top notch. Will be back the next time I'm in the area for a fantastically relaxing meal. It's more of a traditional old style Chinese restaurant that deals with an older clientele, so no thumping music etc... But the food is 2nd to none! On top of the great food, the staff are friendly, clean and prompt and their new location on Oranienburgerstraße lends itself well to the other establishments in the area. With the new location comes a function room too that can handle 80 covers quite easily. If only my local Chinese was as consistently good.:(

There's a ton to pick from on the menu, however their real menu isn't nearly as inviting as their online one. Would I go back for the food? Yes. Would I go back for the prices? On the occasion. Would I go back for the ambiance? Not really, we almost walked past the restaurant not knowing that it was even there; absolutely no people were there for our entire 1 1/2 hr stay. Would I go back for the asian guy working there who tried to make us feel like valued customers? Definitely. However, would I go back for the hostess? No. I'm not sure if she lacked German vocabulary, or was just being plain money-greedy... but she did everything in her power to not allow my partner and I to use our 2 for 1 coupon. She twisted rules into the coupon that it didn't even state. The coupon says, "Gegen Abgabe des Schecks, vor der Bestellung, erhalten Sie nur für den Verzehr im Restaurant und nur bei Bestellung von Getränken und mind. einer Vorspeise bei Barbezahlung das zweite wertgleiche oder preiswertere Gericht gratis." In translation: -Hand the coupon in before ordering. -Only usable if you're eating in the restaurant. -Must pay with cash. -The ordering of all drinks + at least 1 entrée add up to your discount. -You get another dish, of the same value or less, for free. With that, we got an entrée for 6€, 3€ coke, 4.50€ dumplings, and another 10€ meal. She insisted that #1 dumplings don't count as a meal nor an entrée. #2 She gave us the coupon back saying that we would have to order more or else she wouldn't give us the discount; so the coupon went unused. As for the fortune cookie, I would've much rather have stuck to my delicious dinner for dessert. If stale yeast is your thing, then you will have an absolute parade after eating one. Yummy kisses! ;) I can't complain about my fortune since it was more of a demand than a prediction, "Awaken!" -- Thank you Kang Feng, I was definitely awake after the amount of spicy herbs I in-took. :D

Our food came out very quickly which was great because my sister and I were starving! The restaurant is clean and a nice size. It looks like a nice place to hold a private party.
