Friday nights in our house is known as Chinese Fridays as we nearly always have a Man Lung. The portions are of a good size and with a starter you can easily share one dish not only saving money but also helping with the waste-line. You can make your own dish combinations for example I like to order Chilli Chicken with Broccoli and cashews - not on the menu but made for me and it's divine! Prices are not that bad either and I believe they do home delivery within about ~3 miles for items over £15 but check first Great Chinese takeaway and for that I can't fault it !!

I've converted quite a few people into fans. I tend to use this place as a takeaway more than an eat in place as its not too far to go and it's cheaper to take it home and eat it. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is a very good standard, far better than most chinese takeaways I've been to but I think that's due to it being a restaurant too which pushes the standard higher. This is a popular place on a weekend so if you're eating in it's probably a good idea to book a table, if you can't get booked in then just order a takeaway. The only downside is they don't do delivery as they are very busy so you have to get it yourself.

I regularly order from here on a Saturday night (prime time) and the order is usually taken without issue. The problem I have is that I will be given a number and a wait time (for example 30 minutes). The wait time is like a number they have just plucked out of thin air. Every single time, if I turn up after 30 minutes, you can guarantee I have been stood waiting anywhere between 10-30 minutes over the allotted time. When given your food, a number is read out, a price given, money exchanged and good bye. Yes the place is busy, but you truly are just a number when it's busy. Just give me an honest wait time. I can't comment on any other night as it's usually weekend when I order. The food on the other hand is excellent, probably the best Chinese takeaway I've had in terms of food quality, quantity and it's very reasonably priced.
