The portions are of a good size and with a starter you can easily share one dish not only saving money but also helping with the waste-line. You can make your own dish combinations for example I like to order Chilli Chicken with Broccoli and cashews - not on the menu but made for me and it's divine! I've converted quite a few people into fans. I tend to use this place as a takeaway more than an eat in place as its not too far to go and it's cheaper to take it home and eat it. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is a very good standard, far better than most chinese takeaways I've been to but I think that's due to it being a restaurant too which pushes the standard higher. This is a popular place on a weekend so if you're eating in it's probably a good idea to book a table, if you can't get booked in then just order a takeaway. The only downside is they don't do delivery as they are very busy so you have to get it yourself.

I regularly order from here on a Saturday night (prime time) and the order is usually taken without issue. The problem I have is that I will be given a number and a wait time (for example 30 minutes). The wait time is like a number they have just plucked out of thin air. Every single time, if I turn up after 30 minutes, you can guarantee I have been stood waiting anywhere between 10-30 minutes over the allotted time. When given your food, a number is read out, a price given, money exchanged and good bye. Yes the place is busy, but you truly are just a number when it's busy. Just give me an honest wait time. I can't comment on any other night as it's usually weekend when I order. The food on the other hand is excellent, probably the best Chinese takeaway I've had in terms of food quality, quantity and it's very reasonably priced. Consistently brilliant. Our usual order is as follows: (feeds 3 adults and one bottomless-pit Brother) - Sweet and Sour Chicken; it's honestly the best I've had anywhere. Ever - Char Sui Roast Pork; again, amazing - Soft noodles; with bean sprouts and onion - 2 Egg Fried Rice or 1 Chicken/other meat Fried Rice; Tasty, non-greasy - Prawn Crackers - and one other main dish that we choose at random The family/staff who work here are friendly and super organised; when you arrive for collection (they don't deliver) the orders are spread in a fan over a silver tray - they know exactly which docket to choose from the delicately arranged pile, they pop into the kitchen and out with a bag of take-out-container filled joy. You can also opt to eat in. The restaurant is fairly small but the service is exceptional and the food is wonderful regardless of where you eat it. Car parking can be a little tricky at busy times.
