Its nice and plesant environment. The food is delicious. The restaurant is on a busy road but once you enter the main gates you feel like you are in a country side away from the main city. The staff were friendly although they tended to hover over you or stand in the side watching you eat which I found a little off putting. The menu was large with lots of choices. I decided to got back to the 80's with the classic lineup of chicken and sweet corn soup, ribs and king prawn with fried rice. The meal was tasty although the vegetables in my main dish were a bit cold hence the 4 stars. With a beer and a Bailys the meal came to £30 which is not too bad for the amount of food I had. Would come back again.

The decor is quite impressive -- one up from most other Chinese restaurants in the area -- and you get the impression that you're paying for it too! The prices are certainly above what you might normally pay and to be honest the food doesn't seem to warrant the price-tag (or at least it didn't when we went) -- it's just as good elsewhere and rather cheaper too. Even the takeaways are pricey! Parking is a bit of a problem too. Having said that, the place always seemeds to be quite busy, so perhaps the rest of the Bolton restaurant-going public disagree with us

The seafood is perhaps the most impressive range, as it includes the scallop dishes alone. Mmmm... And the best deal of the lot, two for one on beers!
