However, most of the dishes were lacking flavor and tasted pretty bland. One major downside for me was the ice cream area. The scoops are shared by everyone and are only sitting in a container of water between uses instead of being washed or sanitized. Considering how many people do not wash their hands after using the restroom, I was uncomfortable using a community scoop that everyone touches, so I skipped the ice cream entirely. Overall, it's a decent place to fill up on food, but the flavor and sanitation concerns keep it from being somewhere I would highly recommend.

The location is definitely odd: it's in the food court of a semi-deserted shopping mall at the south end of downtown Mason City, so you either eat at one of the tables there or take the food home. But the menu is extensive enough to offer something for everyone, and the people who run the place work very hard to deliver a quality meal. Mason City is lucky to have a spot like this for authentic Asian food. I hope the business is successful enough that they can move to a less strange venue -- it did seem pretty busy the afternoon I was there, so apparently the locals have begun to appreciate what they've got.
