However this does not make up for the quality of food which leaves much to be desired.

The one thing I did not enjoy was the cleanliness. I felt uncomfortable sitting next to the dying plants by the window, which attracted all sorts of bugs. I felt like the table had dirt from the plants and needed to be actually wiped down with soap and water. The floor needed to be scrubbed; the chairs had crumbs from previous patrons. Once the food arrived though, I forgot about this. There is a guy solo running the front. He took orders, brought out all dishes, and received payment at the counter. He asked where we were from because we spoke a bit of Mandarin. Cumin lamb was fried and very fragrant. Wontons in chili oil were big and juicy but could have been spicier. Sauteed cabbage was good - the only dish we got that wasn't spicy. Water boiled fish was numbing but could have used more flavor. A portion of kroepoek you usually get for free but here you pay 3€ (you'll get sweet & sour sauce as extra) Tofu with vegetables, 14,80€, delicious but I didn't have rice on the side or anything so it's not cheap. My girlfriend asked baked noodles as a side dish and paid 5,50€ for it. 9,80€ for a nasi goreng with chicken, is ok I would say. Then we asked for tea for three, got one pot of jasmin tea and paid 7,50€ for it (no cookies on the side), that I think is quite a lot again. The service is efficient, quick, the food is very good so it's a good place but do expect to pay more than in Chinatown.
