All I have to say is run! Don't go. Had a horrible lunch experience here with my kids. Some of…read morethe food was warm and not hot, it was definitely below what the inspector would allow had he been called that day. This means you could get sick easily from food that's been sitting out for who knows how long at the wrong temperature. It was nearly $70 ($66.19) for me plus 3 kids with drinks...I was not prepared for it to cost that much. Most Chinese buffets are like $15 for adults and $7-8 for kids with a kids drink. I had sticker shock when I got the receipt. The food wasn't good and it was overpriced. The ambience...if you like old dudes who watch political YouTube videos on their phone while they dine at max volume then this is the place for you! It wasn't just one, but two of them!! It was so loud and obnoxious I couldn't even try to enjoy the terrible food. The staff said nothing to them as if it was acceptable normal behavior and maybe it is for this place. I'm positive one of them was using a bluetooth speaker. I took a video of it because I was in disbelief. Skip the Chinese food and go to CJ Maggies or somewhere where better behaved diners gather and get better food at around the same price or less.

Located in a strip mall the outside is very plain, but inside is nicely decorated if a bit dated. The buffet had good variety if not huge, no sushi, but salad setup, hot food and limited desserts. For me as a pescatarian, there was a nice selection of seafood, including stirfried seafood, crystal shrimp, baked krabstick and fish fillets. The food was tasty and well prepared; nothing really fancy, but nicely seasoned. Overall not exceptional, but good and a reasonable value at $12.95 for dinner. A nice option to grab a decent meal at a good price and fill up.

Grand China Buffet Sushi & Grill. Clarksburg, WV. March, 2026. Craving Chinese food, four of us…read more(all adults) decided to check out the Grand China Buffet. It turned out to be a great choice for our group as we have very distinct eating preferences. The basis of MY meal was primarily the Mongolian grill, wherein you choose your own raw ingredients (meats, shrimp/crab, vegetables), noodles, and sauces, that are then freshly stir-fried on a gigantic grill by the grill-master. There was a good selection of meats and seafood, but I would've liked to have seen a wider variety of vegetables -- to include, for instance, carrots, water chestnuts, spinach, mini corn ears, etc. My selection was stir-fried perfectly (with meats well-cooked and veggies crisp tender), and the amount of sauce complemented rather than over-whelmed the dish. A second member of our group piled up, again and again, on seafood choices (and frog legs!) from the numerous buffet stations. The two other members of our party sampled a bit of everything, except the American choices. Grand China offers a large selection of Chinese entrees, noodles/rice, salads, sushi, the Mongolian grill, soups, some dim sum, desserts, and even ice cream. Did we love every dish? No. Did every member of our group find food choices that they enjoyed? A resounding yes. The restaurant is open 7 days per week, and was clean and busy. There's free and plentiful parking. The hostess and waitress were efficient and friendly enough. The dinner buffet ($14.99 per adult, or $1.20/year for kids aged 4-10 years) was a great value given the variety of food choices and the fact that it is all-you-can-eat. One recommendation to the restaurant. Please add sesame balls!

We have eaten here a few times (via takeout) during COVID-19, while our favorite Chinese place in…read morethe area is closed. We have been able to order and pay over the phone, then walk in to pick up our order. We have never eaten in, though the inside looks orderly. The new COVID specific sanitation set up at the front window where you pay is impressive. The owner is consistently wiping down and sanitizing, even during the two minutes it takes me to walk in for our order. I get vegetables with garlic sauce and white rice. My husband likes black pepper chicken. Our boys like General Tso chicken. Everything is fresh and hot, and very good. We do not care for the crab flavoring in the wontons, nor is the fried rice anything to write home about. The lomein is delicious, and the white rice has a wonderful, sweet, subtle flavoring that I can't decipher. I'm not sure if this would be a regular stop for us during "normal times," but I'm glad we found this option for takeout during COVID and the food is a solid four out of five rating.

This is a traditional generic Chinese food restaurant as far as I can tell. Place was empty when I…read moregot there on a Friday night. There was a young child doing his homework, which I think is the son of the owners. Otherwise no one else was in the place except for me and the kitchen staff. I've only ordered once from this restaurant and I ordered to go. I ate really late because I had worked a very long day and I was very hungry and did not wanna wait an hour before I was able to get home to try to make something. I ordered four items. Two appetizers and two main courses. The worst dish I ordered was the fried scallops. I don't believe they were actually scallops. I think they were some type of fish substitute that was shaped to look like scallops. They tasted absolutely horrible. I was starving at this point, I only ate a few of them. I kept on trying to decide if they were real or not. My determination they were not scallops. The scallops were one of the two appetizers I ordered. The second appetizer was the barbecue chicken sticks. They were palatable, and I was driving home so that's why I was eating the appetizers on my way home. I ate all the barbecue chicken sticks. Honestly the food kind of tasted funny. I'm assuming cheap oil. I ate all the barbecue chicken sticks on my way home. When I got home I tried the meals, the meals were very well proportioned there was a lot of food in the two dishes I ordered. I ordered egg foo young with shrimp. It was really well cooked but it didn't really taste excellent. It wasn't as bad as the fried scallops. But it was rather greasy and I'm working at eating healthier. The second main course I ordered was the Mushu chicken. Which is a very healthy dish because it's mostly vegetables and chicken. This was pretty good but again I think the oil they use is very cheap. I actually worked as a wok cook at a good earth, or several good earth restaurants . And I know what kind of oil you should use in a wok. I don't believe I will ever eat here again, but if I do it will be basic foods like cashew chicken, that probably would be good. I definitely would avoid the fried scallops or whatever they are. I'm eating a very low calorie diet currently cause I am working out very hard and attempting to get lean. Build muscle and lose fat kind of thing. I know these people work really hard and they were very very nice. And I might be a little snob when it comes to food. So for most people this would be a good restaurant to eat at. I wanted something that was fairly healthy and had a lot of protein and vegetables. One of my dishes came with fried rice. Which was basic fried rice and it was fine. And I had the wonton soup that came with one of my dishes. Which I have not tried yet. This place may be right for you. So don't just trust my opinion. Sorry I did not take any pictures. But again the portions were pretty darn good and the prices are reasonable. I got three fortune cookies, and I ate one. It was stale, so I threw out the other two.
