He did a great job, in a timely manner, sharing before and after photos with me throughout the process. More recently, I contacted Kendall again for tuckpointing and exterior waterproofing work on our 100+ year old home. Again he came through - promptly providing an estimate, starting on the agreed upon date, and finishing the work within the estimated time frame. The work looks seamless against the existing brickwork that wasn't included in the scope of work and I know I'll call Kendall again if additional masonry work is required (as I'm sure it will be).

I chose him because he convinced me that he did it the right way and that he took pride in his work. We paid him the full amount because he was very intimidating and threatening to me and my wife. While another, more high-tech company was thorough in examining our chimney, etc. (an examination which cost us over $100) and came in with a repair estimate of roughly $7000, Crestwood examined our chimney thoroughly, explained what Kentucky standards were, and what needed to be done to make our chimney both safe and operable. Total repairs, including the new damper, came to less than $700. He was kind, efficient, masked and knowledgable, and now we have a working fireplace for when the seasons turn cold.

I honestly hate leaving bad reviews, but after recommending this guy for multiple jobs, I just…read morecan't in good faith stay silent. I had a project done by him in 2020. By the end of the first year, cracks had already started to appear. When I brought it up, I was brushed off and told to "wait and see" if they got worse. Then came the spalling. Now, the concrete looks rotten, with the top layer peeling off everywhere. I have tried multiple times to get in touch with him -- not even asking him to fix it for free -- just asking him to come take a look and see what we could do. Nothing. No calls, no texts, no response. I also have a huge crack running across the porch, and it was poured off-center by nearly 12 inches. Absolutely unprofessional. This is not character. This is not integrity. I recommended him to others because I truly thought he had both. Unfortunately, I was wrong. He still won't even return a call or a text to help make this right in any way. And before anyone says, "just another angry customer," I've attached real pictures as proof. The concrete was obviously poured way too wet. To be fair, the first winter wasn't terrible. But the last three have absolutely destroyed it. Use extreme caution before trusting your project to him.

I would give a 0 star review if it would allow. Horrible company. Their scheduling is a joke and…read morethey schedule things and do not honor it. They say that they "Work with your insurance company", but that is far from the truth. Instead of meeting with your adjuster and showing them the components, they just go based off of the adjusters inspection. So, therefor, all of your roofing components will not be replaced as it needs to be. They absolutely refuse to replace Step flashing, counter flashing, and apron flashing. The exact words from the General Manager, Paul Lessee, "The insurance isnt paying for it, so we arent either!" So, with that being said, instead of doing your roof the right way, they cut corners. Flashing is a HUGE part of your roof! Flashing is a safeguard against leaks around walls, chimneys, dormers! Once your roof is done, if you have any issues with it, good luck getting them to come back out to address these issues in a timely manner. Once they get their money from you and your insurance company, they fly away in the wind. PLEASE BEWARE! There are plenty of other REPUTABLE roofing companies that you can call!!! Please stay away from Jeff Home Improvements!!!!! Picture added is for proof of them wanting to "Reseal Step flashing". People, you cannot reseal step flashing. It needs replaced when the roof is replaced.

Stephen was very prompt and professional in responding to my calls and messages and offered me a competitive quote that he thought would be a week long repair job. His crew had our brick wall repaired in 2 days and were able to salvage almost all of the old/existing brick which we were very appreciative of. Stephen was one of the only masons in town who was willing to clean and reuse the old brick so it looked as if it had never been repaired. He offered me some tips and advice for how long to wait and let the brick dry before putting screws into it and came out to the house after the job was done and inspected his crews work. He even offered to have them come back and clean up a few areas that still had some remaining mortar. I would highly recommend Brick and Stone Masonry for all of your masonry needs - thank you again for everything!
