Normally I don't like places like this. Commonly found in Australia, self grilling places have…read morenever been my thing. There is a part of me that has an issue going to a restaurant and having to cook your own steak ;-) mind you I happily do that at a Korean BBQ or Japanese restaurant :-)
My company had organized an evening here for customers, so I went along. It is located on a quiet street and is an open plan restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are extremely attentive and welcoming and, for service they get 5 stars. They explained everything to the guests and got us on our way with drinks quickly. The concepts here is, you get mixed starters and you choose your cut of steak (no veggies here). I just went for the biggest one, the flank steak lol. I believe this is also the normal way in which the restaurant operates.
Our starter was beef carpaccio, smoked fish and goats cheese with bread. It was very good. My steak was excellent and tender and, I cooked it rare. Tender and delicious, I wanted another one ;-)) the primitivo wine I had was also superb.
I would happily come back here again. I can't tell you value for money, as we did not have to pay ;-)) good steak, nice ambience and excellent service. If you like steak chances are you might enjoy the experience of grilling it yourself and not have to clean up ;-))
