I really loved the decor inside, everything seemed authentic and looked very well put together. We did have a large round table which really didn't give much room around us but we appreciated the fact they accommodated our large group as best as they could. My dad and I ordered the pork spring rolls to begin, they were so good! Don't know what was so good and different about them but I could've eaten lots more. We all ordered our own mains with the intention of sharing between us all. I don't remember the exact name of my dish but it was #37 which was a lamb stir fry. I didn't even want to share it was that good, cooked and seasoned to perfection. I tried a few different curries that were at the table and can't say one bad thing about any of them. Our servers were quick and polite, although not fluent in English. We brought a cake for my grandma which she didn't know about, the waitress was nice enough to keep it in the kitchen for us and brought it out with the candle lit when we asked. Overall I enjoyed this experience as a first-timer, however, the plates that were brought out with our cake were not very clean. This really upset my dad, there was rice on 97% of the dessert plates. I didn't consider it a huge deal but it was a bit odd. They do charge $6 for corkage! BYO wine only. I am looking forward to the next time I get to go here!

We've always had to book and the centre where the actual restaurant is gets super busy at night, so it's tough to get a park. So book early... because if you don't book you just might be staring through the window or waiting a very long time. The prices here are on the expensive side with although if you have 4 or more people it's $30 for a banquet and they are very reasonable. Let's get this straight. You go to a Thai restaurant and you order the Pad Thai. The one here is magnificent. The ingredients finely chopped, good amounts of noodle and filling and the sauce compliments everything addictively, so you just want to eat more. It's probably a good thing that this dish always fills you up if you have it by itself and for $18.90 you'd really want it to. Also try the Pad Num Mun Hoi with beef (bamboo shoots, mushrooms and shallots) because it's delicately seasoned and very yummy with some coconut rice. This restaurant is pretty, it's got Thai ornaments all over the joint and the staff wear traditionaly Thai outfits to serve. It's a great taste to go on a first or second or third date.

We decided to stick to the Burmese dishes - so we chose the Mohinga (a kind of fish noodle soup & considered the national dish of Myanmar) & Burmese chicken curry (which was a lunch special). Both were really delicious - lovely fresh ingredients and aromatic flavours. It was good value and the service was great too! We really enjoyed eating a different cuisine from the South East Asian region - we'll be back to try some more Burmese dishes!

So naturally, I skipped the Thai food, and ordered most of the Burmese dishes. We ordered the pickled tea leaf salad (lahpet-thoke, a classic Burmese dish), the burmese chicken curry, and the burmese coconut noodle soup (ohn no kauk swe). The tea leaf salad was great! The fermented tea leaves and raw tomato are wonderfully tart and harmonize well with the savory fried garlic, nuts, and dried shrimp. The textures are equally harmoneous as the cabbage and nuts add a nice crunch to the loft tea leaves. This lahpet-thoke included corn, which I've never had in this dish before, but I think it worked giving the dish a bit of sweetness that really balanced all of the flavors. The curry was also very good, thick, soft potatoes stewed with chicken and spices. The chicken in dark meat, and the curry is very rustic. I've never had Burmese curry before, but the closest thing I have had in other cuisines would be a Malaysian chicken curry. Perhaps the star though was the coconut noodle soup. Fried noodles that get soft in a thick, sweet, yet savory coconut broth. It has a subtle dried shrimp flavor that is just absolutely out of this world. It is such a rich dish that it's perfect for sharing alongside that fresh tea leaf salad. A wonderful addition to Brisbane's dining seen. So happy to see a good Burmese place here.

The…read morerestaurant has a nice little courtyard where you can sit outside and enjoy the weather or if you prefer has spacious inside seating with glass walls all round giving you feeling of freedom even when the restaurant gets busy which it often does. Another nice touch is that the kitchen is exposed to the patrons who sit inside and the smell coming form it makes your mouth water and your stomach rumble. The menu is extensive with starters, Thai salads, famous Thai curries and a great selection of Thai noodles. The average price of starters is about 6 dollars and main courses can range from about 13 dollars to 20 dollars. The food is very good and if you are thinking that it might be a bit pricey you just have to give it a chance and I am sure you will deem the price valid. A fair warning needs to be extended however to those who order spicy dishes such as drunken noodles because true to Thai style they really do mean spicy. Overall the service is very good and all the staff is from Thailand again just giving it an authentic Thai experience. The food also comes out as soon as it is prepared so don't be surprised if your starts and main courses sometimes arrive at the same time, they do this however so that the food does not stand and get cold and so that they can ensure it gets to you as fresh as possible. They do not have an alcohol license but as with many of these restaurants you can bring your own, there is a corking fee of $1.50 to just be aware of.
