Friendly, efficient service. Quality bicycles. We opted for the e-bikes since the weather forecast predicted 44km wind gusts. And yes, the forecast was spot on! A bit of a struggle along McCormick's Bay on was back from Scarborough but not near as difficult without the added power. The 20k ride only used up 1 bar (20%) and less for my partner. 4 hour and full day rentals available; but for the little difference in price, my advice is to book for the full day. We did not reserve and we're fortunate to be on our bikes by 10:30! Enjoy! read more

I finally made it back to NZ, and rented a BMW for two weeks from the Auckland shop. Justin took great care of us when we received the bikes and again when we turned them in. The bikes were clean, ran well, and were able to carry all we needed for a two week trip. I sincerely recommend Te Waipounamu to anyone looking to rent a motorcycle in NZ. Just remember, reserve early for the high season of January/February.
