I don't know if I've ever had a five-star experience at Chili's, but a dozen 4.4 star visits in a row over the past year earns them this review. Consistently very good service and fresh, hot food time after time. And that is not the norm these post-Covid days, especially in a chain restaurant. They obviously have good management at this location. I'm in the hospitality business, so I'm very picky and usually upset my wife when we go out because I complain and confront establishments with their poor experience. But Petal Chili's has become our Happy Place. read more

Though this is a chain, I found it to be worth my time. Honestly, I haven't eaten here much because I'm a fan of another place nearby. The wife had other plans, though. So we went here just to break the normal routine. We were both pleasantly surprised by the meal. She had sliders and I had honey chipotle chicken tenders. Neither of us has a single complaint. The service was excellent and the overall experience was one that we thoroughly enjoyed. We will define going back. read more

As with any restaurant - sometimes if you hit them up an hour before close you may get less than desirable food. Went in to the Petal location and noticed there were only 6 customers in the place at 9P. Went ahead and ordered food. Appetizers were about a 4 out of 10, but we decided to get the fajitas and once they arrived it just didn't smell right and the chicken and steak were way undercooked and one fajita plate had a hair on the chicken. Will not return to this location, as it just didn't seem like a tight operation managed well - but it may not be so horrific if you go during prime time. read more

This place is kind of hit or miss, my last visit was good. The food was tasty & service was great but the cleanliness of the tables fell beneath the mark. It was not crowded when we arrived but yet all the tables were dirty. We moved from our original seating and at that point just decided to clean it off ourselves. Every single time I have eaten here my food has been wrong somehow! The last time I decided to give em another shot they were extremely slow (2 other tables) and we figured that we would be in and out in about an hour or so. Not only did we have to seat ourselves, it took over 20 minutes to get 2 sweet teas and cheese fries that were cold. Although we did mention we were ready to order it was still about 15 minutes before the waitress took our order. We both ordered steaks medium rare with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The hockey pucks they called steak that were served to us the FIRST time were horrible and inedible so we sent our plates back. We had ordered drinks from the bar as well that were brought to the table as we sent the plates back. About the time we were finishing our drinks, our plates were brought out again. I still can't figure out what took so long since my steak was EXTREMELY RARE! My plate was full of blood and my potatoes and broccoli were cold. Actually the broccoli was more on the raw side than steamed but I could handle that, I could not eat my steak though so we called the waitress back again! I understand that she couldn't help what the kitchen did and simply asked for a manager. 20 minutes later the so-called manager came to the table with our check in hand and told us he didn't understand our problem and walked away. After about 2.5 hours of bad service we were basically pushed out of the door with raw food in togo plates, empty stomachs, and a bill that had been up charged with no explanation! My boyfriend literally had to finish cooking my steak when we got home! I definitely will not ever go back! read more

I have been to this location about 4-5 times and it is always very good. But today was different. We ordered the Fajitas (like always) and ate all the tortillas. We asked for more and it took the kitchen around 20-25 mins to get us our tortillas (Yes you heard me. 20-25mins for tortillas). But the waiter was very nice and tried to help as much as possible. So it was really the kitchens fault. This location is always very good, so that is why I made a exception and didn't leave one star. read more
