DO NOT order takeout from this location. I'm extremely upset and disappointed. I ordered the Rancher Burger to go, and while eating, I noticed something was off--the meat was mushy and strange. When I looked closer, I realized the burger was completely undercooked and still red inside. This is unacceptable and honestly has me worried about getting sick. There is no excuse for serving undercooked beef, especially when it's meant to be well-done or at least safe to eat. I trusted this restaurant to handle food properly, and that trust is gone. I won't be returning, and I hope the staff takes this as a serious wake-up call to check their quality control, especially for takeout orders. I placed a to go order. As I waited for my salad, I saw a dirty plate of half eaten food left on the shelf where you pick up your order. I took a snapshot of it but cannot find it in my phone to share. I can't tell you how many servers walked past the plate. I just got my salad and left. I always have a good experience when I go here. It's the restaurant industry so you can't always have perfection. However, the staff there, especially Taylor, always try to keep up. We've been going to Chili's for a very long time. This location has really seemed to decline over time. My wife placed our order over the phone for carry out. When she arrived at the restaurant to go in and pick it up, the guy informed her that she couldn't opt out of tipping 18%. We always tip when dining in but I'm not tipping you to simply hand me a bag. When she got home, we realized the order was wrong. They gave me a fried chicken sandwich instead of grilled. Her quesadillas tasted burned. The chicken on the inside was overcooked. We were supposed to receive free chips and salsa and that was left out. This was my first time going to Chili's and in all seriousness it was life changing. I had the triple dipper with sliders, honey crispers and mozzarella sticks. Let's start with the sliders, WOW these actually might have been the best sliders I have ever had, absolutely beautiful. The mozzarella sticks had amazing cheese pull and tasted outstanding. If one starts with the Margaritaville song, where he is looking for the lost shaker of salt, Chili's must have found it because everything tasted way over salted. The Skillet Queso was so salty I felt like I was being poisoned. I ordered the dinner version of my favorite the lunch fajitas with chicken. They normally come with the tortillas hot in a round case server. But not mine, they came wadded up in aluminum foil like nan bread from an Indian restaurant. I also had planned to order everything at once but the server took the drink order and then ran away, then the appetizers order and ran away again before finally taking the entrees order. Although the Skillet Queso was almost inedible because of the saltiness, the chicken fajitas were tasty once the tortillas were taken from the foil. It did seem the tortillas did get colder faster from being in the aluminum foil. I tried someone else's deep fried cheese and that did not taste like much to me either. At least they had preseason football on the some of the TV's. After all of salt, to go cups were requested for the Coke. We called an order in to Chili's in Morrisville for curbside pick up last night. We arrived on time and submitted our parking space number as instructed. We waited for 20 minutes, and no one came to our vehicle. My husband went inside to check on our order. No one was available in the pick up area. As he was trying to find a staff member, he saw our order on a shelf. Our food was cold. Another car beside us was waiting also. They left without their order. Stopped in Sunday after meeting to save MLB from having to figure out a mini-dinner. Used to snack at Chili's regularly back in the day so we can go here. Pulled in to a tidy parking lot with well kept plantings and gave it a go :-) Pleasant greeting from the hostess while she held the door for us. She seated us near some friends in the bar so we yapped for a bit before looking at the menus. Made the app selection off the table-card before noticing the menu listed the calorie counts; interesting concept, not sure about good or bad but I can save maybe a 1000 or so calories next time... Started with a triple dipper: two mini burgers, chipotled chicken bits, and southwestern egg rolls plus sauces. Chickens and egg rolls were good with the guac, the burgerlings were good with breakfast. MLB had half her margarita chicken with rice and beans (yea food boxes!) I opted for chili tacos (that mostly ended up in my excellent lunch with the other egg roll and tender) and a bucket of chips plus salsa. Really, we just wanted to have a bite of this or that without making a huge mess at home. A bonus was we had fixings for lunch and stuff... We come here about once a month for lunch or dinner. Depends on the time of day we're out and about for food. I've never had a bad meal. The food always seems fresh and tasty. Nothing has ever been over cooked or under cooked. It always seems just right as Goldilocks would say. My favorite item is the Ranchero Chicken Tacos. It's a good option and I hope it stays on the menu. It comes with a side of black beans and cilantro lime rice. Yum! I also love the honey chipotle crispers. Very tasty. We always start with an appetizer if either chips and salsa or the table side guacamole. Although our most recent visit, our waitress informed us they're no longer going to be doing the table side guacamole. :( The service can be a little shady sometimes. We've had excellent service 9/10 times, but a few times there's been long waits before getting drinks or refills and long waits for getting food. Even during the slower times when there is no one in the restaurant and they sit you in the bar area. Overall though, everyone we've encountered on the wait staff has been friendly and knowledgeable. The food is always great for us. Solid 4.5 if I could rate it that way! Side Note: I've also ordered To Go as well as Catering here and they did a fantastic job. No complaints! read more

Chili's used to be a favorite of mine (shyly admitting this), & unfortunately the menu is more appealing / appetizing than the food. Tonight's visit was an invite from my parents who had a gift card. They had the "2 for $20" deal, which includes an appetizer & two entrees. Mom had ribs & fries, dad had the margarita chicken. They shared the chips & salsa. They both commented that their meals were good. However, the chips, while warm, weren't great & the salsa was very thick & spicy. I had the avocado burger & fries, which looked good on the plate. It was ok. With all the toppings, the poor bun didn't stand a chance. It fell apart when I was biting into it. The fries were just ok, too. They weren't great, but they weren't horrible either. The sweet tea wasn't sweet enough & the water tasted like it came directly out of the tap. Their prices are reasonable, the staff was friendly & professional. The restaurant was clean & the tables cleared off quickly. The wait time from ordering, to the time it wound up on the table was reasonable. As far as chain restaurants go, Chili's won't be on my list as a regular one to visit. read more

During this Horrific Situation it is nice to know that some of your favorite restaurants that are staying open for curbside still try's to offer descent takeout! Ordered one of my favorites Classic Beef Nachos came out almost perfect. Missing my Guacamole! It was usually just a spoonful with it normally so I will live. We have been here multiple times since we moved to Mooresville in 2018. and the last 2 years our service has been terrible. The management is awful. The host doesn't know how to do her job. and our food was not the best. First off Management needs to change, because the managers are rude not only to customers but to the workers also. The servers look so tired and overworked. they run around stressed and would be very busy. yet the mangers don't do anything and you hardly see them. which is why service is slow. The food came out cold, and bland. it wasn't worth the price. And the host girl with red hair couldn't tell her left from her right. she didn't know how to sit us, and even sat us in a dirty seat. then proceeded to wipe our table down right in front of us and asked us to dry the table off and walked away. We even witnessed one night the manger standing and talking to customers and even sat down at the table with them and talked for the longest!!!!! This chilis is an embarrassment to Restaurants!!! I could not imagine what its like to work there! maybe thats why they have new employees every-time we went in.... So where do I start? I'm officially over your establishment on 603 River Hwy Mooresville, NC 28117. Im not sure why it seems like the cooks give zero cares but every time I order 'to go' our meal is butchered. For example tonight. Ordered take out- the two meals for 20$. An onion ring appetizer, classic burger and original crispers. When I got home I realized what I had bought was a total disappointment (again). The onnion ring apitizer is FOUR totally BURNT onion rings of various sizes. Seriously , 4 onion rings??? My 6 year old could eat that PLUS her meal. And she's little. The burger had WHOLE garlic cloves. I mean come on that's just lazy. And the original crispers magically turned into extra crispy crispers. Like I said- total disappointment. I get that it's 20$ but still your employees could at least try to hate their job a little less or at least care about the quality of food they put out. Never again. I won't be recommending this location anymore until the quality improves because your cooks could absolutely care less. My steak had a hair cooked into it! Gag. So disappointed. This was my first visit to this Chili's location. My salad plate was freezing, indicative of it being plated and in the refrigerator prior to service instead of freshly prepared. And I ate half of my broccoli before getting ready to dive into my steak, and (unhappy) surprise, there was a hair on the end I was about to cut and eat. I lost my appetite but they compensated me for my meal, so I got another plate to-go. My advice is check your food. read more

I've been going to this chili's for years. I recently turned 21 and typically go in after work for a drink. Which I did exactly that today and they wouldnt except my ID because it's slightly dented in one spot. There are no cracks, the ID isn't worn, you can clearly tell it's me in the picture, and all of my information is still clearly visible. Yet I was told they couldn't accept it because it had a dent. Which makes no sense. Im a server / bartender myself so I know how it goes. I'm extremely disappointed and the manager did nothing to try to help fix the situation.
